Bistro Měšťák — Restaurant in okres Český Krumlov

Hello, Today we visited your restaurant. Although the rating isn't very good, we decided to give you a chance. One fact is clear: your staff knows very little Czech and minimal English. They brought us a different lemonade, but we didn't mind. When we commented that the food was great, the waiter responded by asking if we would be paying by card or cash. I think anyone who speaks English should understand the phrase "the food was great." But never mind. I would definitely work more on ensuring that your staff knows two languages, Czech and English, at least to some degree.

As for the price, I found the cost of the meal to be great compared to other restaurants. You are on the square, and it's expected that it won't be a fast food place. The food was great and nicely decorated; I'm attaching a photo. We waited 25 minutes for the meal, which I also find acceptable. I am giving you 5 stars overall, even though I would deduct 2 stars for the communication issue, but I won't do that. Instead, I urge you to ensure your staff learns to speak at least Czech and English. Thank you, and keep working on yourselves and on achieving a better rating, as you have the potential...

I recently dined at Mestak and had an exceptional experience that deserves to be highlighted. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a delightful meal.

The true stars of the evening were our servers, Latif and Katxa. Their attentiveness and genuine friendliness made us feel right at home. Latif was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, providing insightful recommendations that truly enhanced our dining experience. He took the time to ensure that our needs were met and that we were enjoying our meal.

Katxa, on the other hand, added a personal touch to our experience with her vibrant personality and enthusiasm. Her prompt service and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. She made sure our glasses were always filled and checked in on us just the right amount.

The food itself was remarkable, with each dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The combination of excellent cuisine and outstanding service from Latif and Katxa made for an unforgettable evening. I cannot recommend mestak highly enough, and I look forward to...

We waited two hours for a cup of hot chocolate and another hour for the food. The service was absolutely unacceptable. While we were waiting for our orders the servers didn't even bring us water. First of all the Caesar's salad was plain and the chicken in it tasteless and most probably old, also the croutons were dump. Apart from that, the chicken nuggets were slimy and their texture disgusting. Lastly, the burger was not only uncooked but the patty in it was about to start moving!!!!
