A horrible experience! I went there on a cold day with my family who was visiting Prague, we wanted to sit somewhere to warm up, entered this place, asked them what soups they had (we were not very hungry), the manager informed me very rudely that they had NO SOUPS (a Czech restaurant without any soup in the middle of the day? Must be some fake place..), then I said we will at least have some drinks and he said NO DRINKS, if no food you can't stay. I have lived here for over 8 years and eat out a lot and have NEVER seen anything like this. I was embarassed because I had our guests with me.. Normally we go to Svejk restaurant (Kremencova street) but they were full (I wonder why.. ;-) ) so I decided to give this place a try. A mistake. I shouted at the manager and left. And promised him I would write a review so here I am :-) Oh and I spoke Czech, so he can't even have thought that I was a tourist, which shows that he really couldn't care less. Tourists - BEWARE! If they don't care about locals then how...
Read moreWe visited Restaurace Myslíkova as a group of 10 around lunchtime, following a recommendation from our Airbnb host and it's safe to say, it did not disappoint.
The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone, from Czech classics to more familiar international options. Most of us opted for traditional dishes, including the Confit Duck and Goulash with Bread Dumplings, both of which were hearty, flavourful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish came out hot, well-presented, and full of authentic flavour.
The pilsners were crisp and refreshing, and the service was friendly and efficient, even with a group of our size. What really stood out was the value for money, A filling lunch with drinks just a stones throw away from central Prague at such a reasonable price is hard to beat.
Whether you're after a casual bite or some authentic Czech cuisine, Myslíkova is a spot I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area. Great food, good service, and no...
