The hotel is opposite the pyramids and provides panoramic views. Our breakfast was rich and we could take it to the terrace watching the pyramids. In the evening you can watch from there the spectacle "Sound and Light ¨ drinking a beer. Refreshments are free of charge from the hotel and the owner offered us popcorn and shisha.Towels were changed daily and the rooms were spotlessly clean. On the first day the owner sent a van to pick us up from the airport and make it easier for us to get a visa there. At the hotel when we arrived they offered us gifts to everyone and a local drink.Kindness and service were honest to us.Sometime a girl from the group had an accident with her shoe. When they saw it, they picked it up and returned to us in a few hours repaired. They do not accept to pay anything . The reservation was made by a group of 9 people. The owner gave us a daily van with driver and guide to take us to all the sights.Congratulations on choosing Hamad Ibrahim as a guide, he was an expert on history and explained us everything wherever we went. He had friends in almost all the sights. we did not have any inconvenience at the entrance and issue of the tickets. At the same time, he protected us from the salesman that were persistent in their attempt to sell something to us. Every morning before leaving, we were offered sealed water to have with us all day. Breakfast is served from 7.00 to 10.00. On the two days of the six we stayed there we had to leave at 6.00. The staff had prepared our breakfast in a pack and waited for us at the hotel entrance before we left. When it was time to buy souvenirs from Cairo, Hamad Ibrahim went to a warehouse with a lot of variety that we got a lot of stuff at half price. When we walk after the market of Al - Khalili and compared the prices , we realized that we bought at a very good price The minus is that there is no elevator to go to the floors or to the terrace for the view. However, our suitcases were carried by the staff A second and important minus is in the deal we had for the van. I had given our daily schedule of our trips to the hotel (but also to four other companies that provided van rental with a driver) about a month before our arrival. The hotel owner Ahmed gave us the best offer and we agreed. On the second day he requested money. He tried to pull out of the program some sites in order to shorten the route or otherwise to raise the price in the same initial sights we had agreed a month ago. This has the effect we of paying more than the original agreement and not seeing exactly what we have agreed from the outset. The tourist does not want surprises in the program he has agreed to. Ahmed I would have rated you excellent , if you respected the e-mail that you sent me before arrival.

I can not say enough good things about this place. We had a room with a private balcony (highly recommended). Views of the pyramids and the bustling streets below were fantastic! Stayed there for six nights. The staff is terrific! They are so welcoming, helpful, and just awesome! When you leave to walk across the street to the little market for a coke or snack or to go to one of the several shops in the area for souvenirs and trinkets, a staff member will escort you to keep the street peddlers away. It felt like having your own personal body guards! They were great and helped make us feel safe. The complimentary breakfast is delicious. It is the same every day but it's tasty and free so I'm not complaining. The restaurant also has great menu items for lunch/dinner, the lamb chops were excellent! Every day we would just watch the hustle and bustle of the street below or stare off at the pyramids and wonder in enchantment. The staff was really the best, they always asked how our day was, if we needed anything, what are plans were, etc. You could just tell they really cared about our experience. The last night before we left, some of the staff came and knocked on our door just to personally say goodbye because they wouldn't be there when we left (super early flight). I've never felt this level of hospitality from anywhere else I've ever stayed. Great view, great location, but most of all, great people❤️ Thank you, Egypt Pyramids Inn, for an unforgettable adventure!

Stayed at this hotel and here is my honest review: Rooms: They were clean, big for 2 people and had a good shower and had your usual fridge, coffee machine, TV etc. The TV had issues connecting to our chromecast or casting, so expect this. At the time the TV didn’t have Netflix capability so this might still be the case. Service: Great. Friendly and honest. Whatever we needed we received. Food: It was OK. Basic food. Nothing that had a wow factor. So don’t expect a cuisine of any kind, it’s your basic burger and fries etc. Location: Hard to find. We had issues finding this place but once you know where it is, it is easy. You will be immediately greeted by people outside of the hotel that usually “hustle” people for money, meaning they are known to the hotel staff and the usually would carry your bags up the top to your room. This requires a tip to be given to them. There is no elevator/lift. So you will have to carry your bags up yourself, however if you’re OK with a tip, let the young lads take up your bags as they’re only trying to make a living. Safety wise you need to be careful during the day and night. There are some shady people and people who own shops who are out front expecting you to be their customer. Overall, the hotel itself is quite literally the most prime location to get to the pyramids. You have an un restricted view of it all. Worth staying here.

AVIOD AT ALL COST. Book only if you want to ruin you vacation. These people are big cheaters and looting people of there money. Even if you decide to take a risk and book a room just execting a good view of pyramids, never ever prepay for the room else you will be left at the mercy of the hotel. I ignored the warning by some other previous travelled reviews and paid the price. This is highly overrated and overpriced inn (not a hotel).||I booked a luxury room here with multiple beds looking directly at the pyramids for 200 USD months in advance. Also I was in touch with the owner and he confirmed me that the room is exactly what I booked for. But to my horror when I landed at hotel I was told that the room is assigned to someone else and we are offered a smaller room with side view of pyramids, not direct room what I booked for and he confirmed also. The room was small and filthy. Then he offered me 2 rooms on the roof and told they will be ready in an hour, when I told I want to see the rooms he resisted but on my insistence they shwoed me the rooms. i was taken aback to see that these we not even guest rooms, these were servan tquarters which he wanted to clean and settle me there. I was furious. Luckily I was with a local guide and he helped me in arguing with the owner, after lot of arguments and pursuing he settled me in a nearby hotel but still the view was not good as I booked initially. It spoiled my whole experience as I was visualizing Pyramids view from that room I booked for months in advance but finally it was not to be. So these poeple for a small anmount of gain can ruin your whole journey which you have been planning for months and probably once in a lifetime. They are doing a grave injustice to the wonerful people of Egypt as these experiences spoils the name of whole country, but who cares he would have gained few dollars by selling my room at a higher price to someone else. Without local guide I would have been at the mercy of the owner. Initially they were not allowing my guide to go with me in the room as this probably was a regular incident and they anticipated this. Luckily my guide forced his way into the room.||Those plannig a trip to Egypt specialy with family, PLEASE make sure you have a local guide with you all the time else you will ruin your vacation, this is true without exceptions, however smart you think you are, you will...
