Absolutely Horrendous Experience – Misleading, Unhygienic, and Zero Accountability
Upon arrival, we were redirected to The Face Hotel, where the front desk informed us that Flixses Suites is not affiliated with them and is instead privately owned. We were told to contact the owner via Trip.com, only to be redirected again—this time to WhatsApp. A man eventually came to escort us to the so-called “2-bedroom suite.”
As soon as we entered the apartment, we were hit with a strong, musty odor. The place was filthy and clearly unmaintained. Mold was visible in every corner of both bathrooms. The furniture was stained and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. A power socket was literally hanging off the wall—posing a clear safety hazard.
We immediately informed the man we could not stay in such a condition and requested a refund. He flat-out refused, citing a “no refund policy” while barely acknowledging us and staying glued to his phone. When we asked for a better room or upgrade, he said we could wait until another apartment was cleaned, but couldn’t even provide photos of the alternative. Who rents out “luxury suites” without any pictures?
At this point, we completely lost trust and just wanted out. Still, they refused a refund—even though we had not checked in and the room was completely uninhabitable.
To make matters worse, Trip.com was absolutely no help. I spent nearly three hours on the phone with them, only to be told they couldn’t process a refund because the “hotel” declined it. This is completely unacceptable. I booked through Trip.com in good faith, trusting them to vet their listings and protect their customers. Clearly, that trust was misplaced.
This experience was deceptive, unhygienic, and stressful. Avoid Flixses Suites at Platinum KLCC at all costs. And honestly, think twice before booking with Trip.com—they clearly don’t stand behind the accommodations they promote or offer any real support when...
Read more🚨 Scam Alert – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs!
I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was so bad, I feel obligated to warn others.
This “hotel” is a complete scam. It’s advertised as part of "Face Suites," but that’s extremely misleading — it’s not affiliated at all. When we arrived after a 14-hour flight from London, exhausted and expecting a 5-star stay, the reception directed us to call a random WhatsApp number. We then waited over 30 minutes for a man to arrive.
When he finally showed up (barely acknowledging us, glued to his phone the entire time), he brought us to what was essentially an unkept Airbnb. The room had a strong mouldy smell, dust everywhere, smelly bedsheets, and plug sockets hanging dangerously off the walls. What we saw online looked nothing like what we walked into. It was dirty, outdated, and not safe. This place wouldn’t even pass for a 3-star stay, let alone the 5-star hotel it claims to be.
We told the man immediately that the place was unacceptable and not what we paid for. We had even paid for the night before so we could check in early and rest — instead, we ended up being awake for over 24 hours with nowhere to go.
We contacted Trip.com for help and shared photos, explaining we weren’t going to stay. They were completely unhelpful and told us there was nothing they could do — despite clear evidence of false advertising.
To make it worse, we were refused a refund, even though we left and didn’t stay. We had no choice but to book another hotel for the next 10 nights, at our own cost.
This is a textbook scam. Avoid at all costs. Do not book this place, and be extremely cautious with listings like this — especially when booking through third-party sites...
Read moreThe worst experience ever! This is one of Platinum Suite in the same building as The Face Suits. In fact, there are many landlords and property groups renting suites in this building. You have to contact the staff via WhatsApp, so you have to wait for at least 10 minutes every time. I stayed for two nights. The room on the first day was very nice. It was spacious with wonderful view. However, there was no hot water to shower. Then I was suddenly told at 23:30 pm my room needs repairs, so the staff asked me to change rooms on the second day. How ridiculous and totally unreasonable!!! But to be honest, even I was unhappy, I can only accept it. As a result, the room on the second day was quite small, at lower floor with a poor view. The worst thing was that it was very dirty. The walls were moldy, the sheets were stained, and the condom packaging garbage was in the corner of the bed. After talking to the staff, someone came to help me to change the sheets, but there was still no hot water. Anyway, the staff was not willing to solve any problems. In addition, it requires a 200rm deposit for check-in. You have to wait the elevator for a while. There is a mosque next to it and in the early morning it will play scriptures loudly. The biggest attraction is the infinity swimming pool on the top floor. It is really beautiful, but there are a lot of people. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Petronas Twin Towers. There is a monorail station next to it. If you just want an infinity pool there should be a...
