Orkid@29 — Hotel in Malacca

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time here in Melaka. This guesthouse is a beautiful place that feels very homey once you step in and the reuse of materials gives it a unique look that is not found very often. Furthermore the location is perfect, so all tourist attractions are in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and we had a lot of good talks. Also make sure to ask for the cooking experience. It is much fun and is also quite affordable. And the resulting meal was one of the best we had during our stay here in Malaysia :) When we visit Melaka again, we will most certainly come back to this...

We spent several days in Orquid.  It was a fantastic experience.  The Homestay is very well located, on a street parallel to Jonker Street. We arrived and were welcomed by Teena and Lee.  Two very nice people with whom you can have long talks.  She taught cooking and he makes small bags with fabrics brought from all over the world. This is an amazing place to stay! I was so happy to find it. They give me a double room really cozy with balcony, window, mosquito net. Welcoming is garantee! Is a guest house and an art place, making with recycle materials and well refinition. This place is run by a couple and he during the day work like Taylor making very nice bag for charity.
