Hostal Paucartambo Wasichay — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

I used the laundry service at this hostal. I arrived at the front desk and asked how much it was per kilo and was told 7 PEN. I then asked for it to be weighed. The 2 bags I had were weighed in front of me and totalled 5 kilos.

I found that strange as by my estimation it should not be more than 3 kilos, however, I agreed on 35 PEN.

While waiting for the laundry, I bought some fruit at the central market that was weighed electronically at 1.1 kilos.

Upon the pickup of my laundry I said that I believed the scale to be inaccurate and that I would like to have the bag of fruit weighed. When it was weighed the scale showed 2 kilos!

I showed this to the man working there and he said that they use different scales. I ended up paying the full 35 PEN.  I recommend not using their...

The room was beautifullt decorated and colourful but it was freezing, no hot water, the window didn't close. Staff were not very helpful. I stayed on the ground floor and they were shouting until early hours of the morning. Not great as i had a trip to rainbow mountain the next morning.
