did the one day Ayahuasca ceremony at the sanctuary and felt underwhelmed by my experience.
To start with there wasn't too much organisation as to the ceremony, I inquired two weeks in advance and gave a date that I wanted to do the Ayahuasca ceremony and on arrival they thought first I cancelled and second that I wanted to do Wachuma.
I prepared accordingly but during the ceremony after 1.5 cups I didn't feel anything, after another cup I still felt nothing. It was only until the maestro Guillermo gave me a 1/3rd cup of his concentrated medicine I felt something.
Even this left me only vibrating and experiencing mild effects which was a shame as I didn't get any personal experience or find any answers to what I wanted to figure out. It was quite underwhelming.
Everyone was very nice I will say especially Joanna and I felt very safe throughout, but upon asking for some money back for my experience I was only offered 20% discount for my next visit.
Overall the experience wasn't worth the $210 I paid if half that, I was disappointed as I wanted this to be a special experience and I think there are better...
Read moreThank you Peruvian Community of Shamans , great teachers for meeting you and for doing a great social work "the Pachamama Project"; Thank you because I know you do not trade with the ayahuasca mother, nor with the ceremonies all the money goes to this project that is everyone's job, collaborate by taking the ceremonies (pachamamahealing.life). I found different indigenous shamans of specialty, in my ceremony of 5 Andean techniques: I had 3 Andean shamans and of ayahuasca it was 1 shaman of pucallpa jungle, 2 assistants women translators. In other ayahuasca centers that I went to experience I only found one shaman, and he did all the ceremonies and I was not very happy. For their professional work I recommend this place because if they are really good shamans and they know how to do their job to everyone I meet. my english is not good, use a...
Read moreI found CAISAE on my recent visit to Cusco by pure chance, it seemed. I had written to another business in the Sacred Valley that offers Ayahuasca retreats, but as it seemed they had not responded to my inquiry promptly, I ended up with a reservation for an Ayahuasca retreat with CAISAE. It turns out this fluke of the internet set in motion much profound change in my life that was to come. I am convinced, in the end, it was no fluke at all (I later actually found the reply email from the first Ayahuasca inquiry in my gmail SPAM folder, promptly received but unread by me!), but the way I was called to Cusco to be born...
