Do not ignore all the negative reviews for this hotel - absolute nightmare! I booked my reservation through Expedia and while it said that I would be partially charged for my stay at time of booking and then the remaining balance upon check-in, I was never charged. Tried to get into contact with the hotel - via Expedia & through the contact info provided on their website, and had no luck. Expedia couldn't get a hold of them; emails bounced back because the email provided online is invalid; and the same with the phone number. A friend in portugal was able to find the right number for the hotel -- again not posted anywhere online -- and I contacted them via whatsapp and they confirmed that my booking exists and I will be charged the full amount upon check-in. 48 hours prior to the check-in I received a text from them confirming what time I would be checking in & they let me know the procedure. However less than 24 hours before check-in I received another text that "due to unavoidable circumstances" my reservation had been cancelled. I tried to text and call them over 20 times and no answer and still have yet to receive any further communication from them. Luckily I was able to make a new booking at the Rua do Jasmim 19 nearby. Please stay away from the hotel - you don't need this type of stress while on vacation or visiting a new place! Absolute nightmare and no communication / customer service.

We stayed in this hotel back in April. EXCELLENT LOCATION, it’s literally right in the middle of everything. The suite was on the second floor, clean, beautiful, with balconies. Well functioning kitchen and bathroom (stand up shower with great water pressure). There are a couple of downsides. The hotel doesn’t really have a lobby, no seating area. We had to stand outside and waited till the exact check in time, didn’t let us check in early. When checking in, the system didn’t take our credit cards, which had no problem using them at other places in Lisbon. But the staff was polite and apologetic. There was no room cleaning - take out garbage, change towels etc. We saw ants here and there but not an infestation. Our experience overall was great. We’d stay there again if we return to Lisbon.

Everything would be fine, but. The room is beautiful and big, but I booked another one. I booked a room not for disabled people and booked a room on the last floor with a view of the city. I wrote and asked about this several times when booking. I was assured that this would be the case. But as soon as I arrived, they gave me a room on the first floor, in the basement. There is no white light there. It is very dark, I constantly did not understand whether it was dawn or not. Awful room. If they told me that this was the only option, I would have gone to another hotel. My vacation is ruined. And by the way, there is no Wi-Fi either. It only works sometimes. And there are also large cockroaches, which are also in the rooms, and some other strange insects.

I came here from Cascais as I wanted to experience a little bit of the city. I travelled by myself. ||Pros - LOCATION, the equivalent of this is for me is staying on the street of Leicester Square; in London you really are in the middle of it all. Great for all site seeing as your close to taxis metros and tuktuks. ||Bed was very comfortable, pillows soft, towels super fluffy. There was extra loo roll. Reception staff were lovely showed me how check in worked (it's automated, be prepared for that.) ||Con: As all other reviewers have said before, there is no soundproofing. You can literally hear everything going on in the room beside you, above and below you. It does sound like elephants on the floorboards. I feel as though I was slightly lucky being put on the 5th floor meant noone was above me. I'm a light sleeper, so I can imagine what my sleep would have been like with people being above me. ||Another mention there was an odd sewer smell that lingered on and off. Possibly old building piping as it wasn't constant. Again, I found that having the air on helped with this. ||Another small gripe of mine. I was a solo female traveller. There didn't seem to be a lock on the inside of the door. You couldn't open the door from the outside without a key card but even still, I would have preferred a lock on the inside just incase, this did make me feel a little strange.||Overall a good...

Comodo e spazioso.
