Mt. Olympus Resorts Building 29 — Hotel in Lake Delton

This place is disgusting! My boyfriend and I stayed here one night and were repeatedly saying to each other how shady this place was. First of all, no one there speaks English very well. When we reserved the room, we were told that we could check in early if needed so when we got into town earlier than anticipated, we decided to call (about 2.5 hours early) to make sure it was okay. The women on the phone (very hard to understand) said that the room wasn't ready yet but that we could come by in 30 mins and it would be ready. Not a big deal but when we arrived a half hour later, that same lady said that it was going to another hour! We had our dog with us so wasting an hour and a half before we could check in didn't leave us with much of anything to do. The front lobby was dark, dirty, and very outdated also the lady was trying to sell her junk right there in the lobby ($5 for everything, including cheap jewelery and clothing). It doesn't look like they've put any money into this place in a very long time. Eventually when we were able to enter our room, I immediately noticed hair on the bathroom floor, spots on the towels, and leftover toothpaste in the sink. They also didn't include and complimentary shampoo or soap. The whole room smelled terrible, the picture on the wall was basically popping out of its frame, the mirror was crooked and the wood frame on the step to the jacuzzi was broken, the tv remote was missing and all electric items were plugged into one power strip. Luckily, I brought room spray and a candle with us just in case. The bed wasn't too bad but the pillows were horrible and super thin. The jacuzzi tub literally took 45 mins to fill and the jets looked like they were going to bust out at any minute. Also, there wasn't a screen or locks for the window. Out behind the hotel, the 'playground'/grill area was so littered with cigarette butts and trash. The sandy area for volleyball was overgrown with grass and weeds. And the playground equipment looks like it's from the 70's. Very outdated and not safe.The only good thing about this place was that we got 2 free tickets to Chula Vista waterpark (Although it sounds like we were lucky she didn't try to charge us!). THEY HAVE BED BUGS! Do Not Stay Here I Have Pics To Prove It They Won't Even Give You A Refund For Their Problem. When We Checked In July 17th 2015 We Were Handed Keys To Room 223 Now I Was Taken Back Because The "Hotel" They Advertise Isn't Theirs They Actuality Took Pictures Of Atlantis Waterpark And Made It Seem Like Theirs. We Get To The Room And There's No Light In The Room And It Smells Bad And Once We Turn On A Lamp We Notice That There Is A Gigantic Hole In The Wall To Top It Off The Towels They Provided Were Dirty And Had Black Stains On Them. They Advertise Having Cable There's None Of That. They Finally Move Us To Another Room And This Room Was A Step Up But What's A Step Up From The Gutter? This Room Had Blood In The Shower Vanity Area Was Dirty With Stains Everywhere. And To Top It Off The Bedspread Was Dirty! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH Then Guess What I Spot, A Bug What Kind Of Bug? A Bed Bug Of Course. They Did Not Refund For The Night Stating Policy Is After 1 Hour There's No Refunds. Then Hesitate To Refund The Next Day Because Their Dope Head "Housekeeper" Couldn't Find The Bug 😮 DON'T...

Upon arriving at the hotel, the clerk/handyman was away and we dialed 0 on the house phone. Unfortunately, he had left his cell phone in the office, and we and another group waited 10-15 minutes before finally being helped. While we waited, we checked out the indoor pool. Both the pool room and the pool itself were unheated and completely unusable. After being checked-in, we were quickly stopped and given keys to a different room because apparently "something had happened" to the first room the night before. On the plus side, we had no issues getting the complimentary Chula Vista waterpark passes.

The room itself was barely adequate. The floor clearly hadn't been vacuumed, we found a couple hairs on a pillow, and the refrigerator didn't work. As with the lobby, the room had a musty smell and has not been updated in quite some time. The heater, which is pretty necessary this time of year, was also loud, but was less of a nuisance than the party going on a floor above us until at least 4am.
