No word of a lie, Kate is single handedly responsible for the kickoff to an amazing trip for me and my friends. I had been hyping Whistler up to them for months, boldly claiming that it was my favorite place in the world - Views/Mountain + Food/Dining Scene - but most of all VIBES! Kate, our girl, was the first person we interacted with - and momma brought the VIBES! She did not disappoint, and she did NOT let me down! 10/10 she is carrying the whole village on her back. Put this woman in charge of training and creating the vibe manual. I've rented a lot of skis in my day and I've worked in customer service for years - I get that can be thankless, gruelling and often annoying. More people need to be as chipper, easygoing and thorough as Kate (although the rest of your staff was also friendly). Not only was Kate's first interaction a 10/10 but every time we bumped into her after, she greeted us and checked in on our experience. Whistler Blackcomb needs to give this woman a kickback.

Read moreWe were able to easily fill our online rental order with Ross from Christchurch. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful, as we asked him lots of what we thought were ‘newbie’ questions as it was our first visit to the snow. The whole process probably only took 10 minutes from greeting and all our gear was in great order and sized correctly. Perhaps our only let down was that we had to wait for Ross to finish with other customers in order to help us, whilst other members of staff were around but seemingly minding their own business. It was a minor detail and only cost us 5 minutes or so. Still highly recommend booking your rentals...
Read moreWe got here 40 minutes before it closes to pick up our rental gear, but they did not want to help us because they decided to close the tills early. This was an online order and it would have taken 5 minutes, what a joke... the staff is incredibly rude
Update: the management reached out and made things right. They ensured us this was a mistake and they focus on making sure everyone has a great experience in their shop. It's how you handle a mistake that matters and we would definitely go back...
