Decided to take the evening cruise for a change of view, but I don't recommend it despite the nice entertainment (singing) on board...really nice guide dressed in traditional clothing. You can ask to have a picture with or without her. You ll get more out of a day cruise. The reason I don't recommend it is that there is a great amount of space between the closest seat and the edge of the boat...hence it is very difficult to watch outside or take photos even if you try to stick your head out...probably for security reasons.

Being someone who cannot swim, I was a bit uneasy when I did not see life jackets readily placed near the seats.

However, there is one advantage of taking the boat cruise after 6pm...you embark n disembark at the same pier, not like the daytime departures.

For some reason, the ride didn't seem long at all and the boat stopped often and was making a few U turns. The diesel smell of the boat can easily cause seasickness during its...

Interesting way to see Tokyo by boat. Recommend reserving tickets online in advance. You can either go down to the gardens and stroll through or take it further to Odaiba. We turned up and the next cruise was full and we had to hang around the area nearby for a couple of hours until the next available cruise. It didn't seem to matter if you arrived before your cruise to try to grt a better seat as you couldn't line up anywhere, you wait upstairs and then they asked people to go downstairs, and then people that reserved online could board first, however it wasn't overly packed and everyone could sit comfortably and we could get window seats. Inside the boat was very hot because it has a glass roof. It would be great if they could put some shades over the glass roof in the summer the sides were open though so there was a...
