We did the couples camel ride and From the start of the trip driver was 20-30 min late but I got over it on the ride there he seemed to be nice and expressed he was sorry for traffic
There are three couples for the camel ride including us upon getting to this location where you need to get in another vehicle to get where the camels are. They had us two couples get in a tiny vehicle while the 3rd couple had their own 4door ATV ride which was weird so we pay our 25 fee which is cool but for some reason Juan tried to charge 1.50 tax for using Zelle so I just paid cash but the Juan guy was only really cool and showed favoritism with one particular couple instead of everybody else it was a weird vibe he took them somewhere else separate on a ATV I was confused because this couple said they were doing the camel ride like us
When we get to the camels it was only us and one other couple I kept wondering what happened to the 3rd couple and there’s only TWO camels so here’s the kicker….
When we were finished (us and the other couple) WE HAD TO WAIT OVER AN HOUR cold outside at some ranch for the 3rd couple to finish their riding because they did additional activities apparently and probably courtesy of Juan but they advertised like we all will ride together it was just disappointing to make us wait for other people and if that was the case just tell us and when wouldn’t of spent our money and wasted our evening we left at 2:50 got back almost 8
The camel ride was eh I thought it be more exciting but Carlos was cool and did his best with the experience I won’t be coming back to...
Read moreHighly recommended!! My partner and I wanted to get away from the mainstream hotel offerings and found Picacho Adventures and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We had a private tour just us two and our amazing guide, Emmanuel, took us through the sand dunes through the mountains to a tiny remote town called Candelaria where he explained some of the history and traditions of the town. We were able to stop for a break and a cerveza at a local home where a lady greeted us and provided refreshments (not part of the tour but was available when we asked).
We LOVED the scenery and had so much fun riding our individual ATVs through the desert. Affordable and glad to support the family run businesses. Would definitely do it again. Thank you Picacho for adding such a memorable experience to our...

DO NOT visit or be a patron of such a horrible experience. Do Not blame employees. Blame the Greedy distasteful owner. Absolute fraud. Charging Fees for everything. Claiming its a "park". Yah, a Trailer park. We attended for a Horseback riding. My family of 4. My two young sons. 12 and 13 managed the horses better than the guide. Before we even arrived, their driver took us an hour out of way. We paid for a 2 hour expected ride on horseback. Was more like 45 mins. 10% on a beach. 40% down destitute streets. 50% along a smoggy Highway. The OWNER not the employees. Does NOT deserve to steal your $. Very...
