We found this place walking back to our hotel after we stopped at another place ,lobster co., but they said they were about to close. We passed by tons of restaurants at the marina but none looked very clean or appetizing. Since it was the last option before heading back to our hotel we decided to try it. It looked very nice walking up had very nice ambiance with Spanish guitar music playing. We had just finished a sunset sail with Cabo sailing which was also amazing and wanted a late bite.
The restaurant is situated right on the water on the marina where you can watch the boat going by during the day.
The food was excellent.
We had the fresh catch of the day which was sea bass. There were about 8 different ways you could have it prepared, we decided to get the garlic butter and the lemon and caper. The fish was prepared perfectly very tender and juicy and the price was not expensive! They had a large selection of seafood on the menu including sushi.
This place was seriously impressive! For an open air restaurant to be so extremely clean even the ceiling was sparking, was definitely surprising. They also had blankets folded neatly on the back of the chairs for chilly nights! The restrooms were also very nice and clean.
Our dinner was fantastic. Great service and great dinner; we had a wonderful late evening meal. We will definitely be back next time...
Read moreBeware this restaurant is in Mexico. And in Mexico there are exchange rates. Not always the normal ones, but the ones the restaurant makes up to charge you above and beyond what they should and rip off the tourism industry which sustains them. I know, its very shady. So if you have had a couple libations, and don't look closely at your bill you might be in for a surprise if you blindly lay down your CC when you get your credit card statement at the end of the month. I ordered the fillet mignon and shrimp which had "market price" on the menu. Be sure to ask. I didn't. Anywho, I got my bill which read $1,530 MX, and under that (for my convenience) it read, $92.73 US. Huh??? At about $20 MX to one US. No way right? When I ran the numbers my calculations came back around $76 US. I was like whuuut is up to the waiter. He was kinda avoidant, but eventually pointed to a sign high up on the wall that read exchange rate: $16.50 MX. So watch out Gringos! Its something to try and remember before you start hooting it up downing Margaritas. The good news is you can insist on paying in Pesos! When you do, you get the normal international exchange rate. Be sure to verify it on with your credit card charges. Stay thirsty my friends. Good food, good atmosphere, even still, I likely won't...

I really thought the charge that was exactly double what we should’ve paid was an honest mistake. When I contacted the restaurant, it seemed like we were having communication issues so I then sent an email in Spanish & English. I didn’t get a response to my email.
So then I contacted my credit card company and explained the restaurant said they could not provide a receipt because their printer wasn’t working. I should’ve take a photo of what the amount should’ve been.
Instead of paying $221, we were charged $442. Our credit card company would not refund the difference and every tourist out there should be EXTREMELY CAREFUL that they don’t get overcharged by this crooked restaurant who preys on tourists.
ORIGINAL REVIEW SUPERB SPOT
Parking is a bit tricky, but if that doesn’t apply to you then this is your jam. Very comfortable seating with fans to keep you cool and staff who go the extra mile to keep you happy. We came on a Sunday and enjoyed the NFL on the multiple TVs.
We especially enjoyed the octopus and crab empanadas....
