Kelly Boat Cabo — Local services in City Centre

Beware…We checked out Kelly Boat online and went off the awesome reviews it had. We checked out their website and had some questions so we called and talked to Ismael the owner. He gave us prices and was able to answer our questions. We wanted a private boat ride so we booked online. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ismael’s wife who was adamant that we had not booked a private boat ride. To the point were she called Ismael to explain and went on to say we were waisting time and she was losing money. We explained that we paid for the private tour and thats what the website was advertising, rudely she would continuously said no but that if we wanted the private tour we needed to pay her more money. We refused and offered to show her what their website was advertising she said oh I don’t know my husband is the one who takes care of the website and said to pay four hundred pesos to take the tour. At this point we were upset and told her we would be writing a review to address the false information, at that point she said just get on, and allowed us on for no additional cost. We would recommend to not book online to avoid any misunderstandings as the website is FALSE advertisement. My girls and I had the best time with Captain Elmer on our tour of Lovers Beach, Pelican Rock, The Arch and Divorce Beach. Easy booking experience! $35 per person! We had some glass on the bottom of our boat so we could see some fish. The captain had some tortilla with him so we could feed the fish and that was so fun for my girls! Wonderful explanation (in English) of all the history! Life jackets for everyone! Captain Elmer took pictures of us near the Arch. Then when we got around the corner to the Pacific Ocean side and were looking at the beaches..we had a humpback whale swim very close to us on the other side…and it made my trip! crew out on the port ema and aracely were great ! very friendly and helpful however the tour was super short just kind of a drive by of the arch area (maybe 10-15 minutes) captain didn’t give much information . we were then dropped off at the beach with a pick up time of 1230 (2 hours later) were told to be in the same spot by 1220 for pick up which worked perfectly for our cruise boarding time . we waited until about 1245 and no pick up . we had to google the contact information and we were told to wait 5 more minutes - almost 30 minutes later than original time about half of our group ended up having to pay another water taxi to make sure we made it back on time . i’ve taken this tour with another company and had a much better experience . would not recommend...
