Very lovely stand here at the corner, highly recommend to look it up online as there is historical implication with this particular tamales stand. The sweet tamale is warm, fluffy, and not too sweet at all. Highly recommended for an extremely affordable snack perfect for anytime.

Buen sabor de tamales dulces y salados, solo hay de esos dos sabores. Los salados no contienen carne pero la masa tiene muy buen sabor, son muy ligeros y pequeños por lo tanto recomiendo pedir uno y uno. Cada uno cuesta 2 soles. La señora está ahí de 6:30am a 8pm.

Buen sabor de tamales dulces y salados, solo hay de esos dos sabores. Los salados no contienen carne pero la masa tiene muy buen sabor, son muy ligeros y pequeños por lo tanto recomiendo pedir uno y uno. Cada uno cuesta 2 soles. La señora está ahí de 6:30am a 8pm.

One of the highlights of our trip! These tamales cost 2 soles a piece (less than a dollar US) and come in two varieties: sweet or savory. Both are delicious. We made it a habit during our two week trip to get a tamale each day and eat it on the steps of the plaza while people watching.
