UNPROFESSIONAL AND PETTY: Nika, the owner of the shop, didn’t have a register, only cash app. Since my cash app wasn’t working, SHE SUGGESTED I pay her back another time since I’m a regular at the nail salon (that her boutique is located inside of). I thought the suggestion was odd, but I appreciated her kindness. The next day, she starts blowing up my phone while I’m at work, telling me she needs the payment now. I was having card issues as she was aware, which is why she suggested I pay her back later. I told her I would pay her the following day once the issue was resolved, and I would pay extra for her kindness. She did not accept. Long story short, she threatened to file a police report on me, saying that I “stole the merchandise”, that she gave to me. Then, she had the owner of the nail shop call me to see if I’d just purchase the merchandise using my card on file with the nail salon. At this point, I was not going to patronize someone who has threatened to file a false report on me over two overpriced jumpsuits.
