they need a better system and better cashiers. came in to buy 2 gachas for fun, when i checked out it said that i had "139 points" cool! i redeemed a free gacha then. so it asked me to enter my phone number but it wasn't working. turns out that some guy had "checked in" before i came up to the cash register and it doesn't matter whos making the transaction its going to show their points and add points to their account. i told the cashier it was fine i would pay for the 3rd gacha, they then began claiming that i would have to pay 10$ for it as i was only charged 5$ because i redeemed a free gacha. I said no and showed them my phone where i was clearly charged 10$ and not refunded a 5$. the other employee tells the cashier to just go along with it and charges me only 5$. the cashier was also acting like it was my fault and i was trying to steal the other customer's points when i had no idea what was happening. train your employees better and make sure they sign people out of their points accounts before you ring up another person. i was also being misgendered the entire time lol thanks.
EDIT: response to the owner-- actually an extremely unprofessional response from an owner. i asked to buy two gashapons. i had no idea that the points were another customer's nor was i actively trying to steal their points. it is gaslighting to also claim that i was trying to redeem two gashapons for free. i had asked to buy two, then there was the points. i corrected my mistake after realizing i had no points and said i would pay for the third one, which i did. i don't believe my bank statement will change as i was never actually able to redeem the free gashapon as it kept failing once i entered my phone number. to antagonize me and claim i was intentionally trying to steal when i was just confused is gaslighting and its unprofessional. if my bank statement does change i will correct myself on that matter but thats it. i even signed onto my bank account online today and it was still 10$. if you truly are an ally to the LGBT community i'd recommend next time if you don't know someone's pronouns i'd just use they/them next time instead of assuming. i won't be back. i am so hurt by this situation when i was just a confused customer. thanks for the free gashapon, i guess.
EDIT: final response-- please let me know your email and i will email you my bank statements proving i paid for three (or 2 if i get that refund like you claimed) if you do not believe me. you are harassing someone is who is intellectually disabled and did not understand how your store's reward system worked. stop...
Read moreI wanted to come on here and share some advice to the store owners about a negative experience that I had this past weekend in your store. I frequently visit the store to look at cute little knickknacks and buy the gachapon Keychain and figures. This visit was no different. I walked up to the bins to look inside and pick out the ones I wanted as usual, only to have the employee turn to me instsntly and say that I can't do that, I'm not allowed to look at them. They said that I have to ask them to do it for me, and that they had a sign saying this is the case. The 'sign' was a hand-written note that is located about 8 feet up the wall, so not where anyone would be looking. It's possible that the employee was just distracted with the other customer and was not aware of how they came across, but as a 31 year old woman I found it quite jarring and patronizing. Now for the advice: perhaps you can put the sign in a better location where people can actually see it, and don't snap at customers that are just trying to shop. Especially since it has never been a problem in the past for people to look in the display drawers. I entered the store excited to look at cute things and buy them, and left without getting anything because this just left a bad taste in my mouth. If you want the customers behavior to change, you have to find a better solution to allow for this.
Edit: Reply to the response from the owner. Literally the first I heard about your "extremely clear instructions" was getting snapped at by the cashier. Maybe they are not as clear as you think. Would have loved an explanation of the new "rules" but they did not care to give me one. I'm not here to tell you where to put your signs, all i am saying is that the hand written sign was much higher than eye level, and I'm just here to tell you how your solution effected me personally. If you don't like my suggestion that is...
Read moreI am not gonna lie the clap backs to the reviews are funny as hell. Whoever’s replying back to peoples reviews are funny, unprofessional but funny. Regardless it’s a nice store with a decent selection, but as others has said they are undeniably overpriced. Them saying that it’s because it’s authentic straight from japan is…😣 Take for instance I got the Kyojuro Rengoku Figure (DX Ver) from crunchyroll for 499 free shipping, but seen when I went they’re selling it here for over $700.
You can 100% find a cheaper authentic place to get whatever they may be selling however depending on where you’re buying from because places such as crunchyroll might not have what they have here and is not always cheaper. Besides crunchyroll I can assure you that on a different site that is authentic located in japan/coming straight from japan that does delivery to us will probably take a decent amount of time to arrive and shipping fees can be insane. I’m talking hundreds so unless you have a good amount of patience and the shipping cost isn’t outrageous I recommend checking out other places first if you’d like to save a buck but if not and you’re big money then I do suggest you shop here it’s convenient since it’s in person so obviously no huge shipping fees or waits.. staff was friendly and overall was a pretty nice experience.
4/5 stars😎 I would recommend this place to a friend. Unless they’re on a budget lol. So if you don’t mind dropping extra money on anime related items then you should stop by here during your time at...
