I Love Minnesota — Local services in Bloomington

First time visitors from IL. I saw this store and wanted to go in since the moment I saw it. So on our way out, we stopped in. We were going to spend well over $200 in here and I understand you have more customers than just us every day so it doesn’t matter, but we will probably never be back. I was refolding things after looking ant them and putting them back in size order. I had 2 sizes out I’d compare. The man working came over and snatched them out, pushing me out of the way and sighing very loudly and then putting them back away pushing me out of the way again. Then we moved to another section and he stayed directly behind us, kept snatching things and sighing very loudly as we’d set them down, still debating on which size to get but also being mindful to refold and put away apparently not to his standards, he hit us with the clothes he snatched multiple times. Set everything down and walked out. We were well on the $300 range of souvenirs here but thanks for ruining that for me. I have worked retail for years and I know how it is, but a lil tip for dude: refold and organize as it’s slow in between a store full of customers, it’s more efficient and less frustrating. don’t snatch, sigh and push people out of the way....

This is a fun shop to find things Minnesota. Lots of choices from cards to shirts to food products. We now live in Texas so was looking for some small gifts for our wine club members and decided to get small containers of MN maple syrup and jams. We needed 16 of each. Kennedy was great in assisting us looking for the jam we wanted. Her store did not have and she checked on line for the sister stores to meet our needs. She even went so far as to personally check the other store to meet our needs. You can’t beat the selection, prices and great...

I was in there with a friend from out of townwho wanted a snow globe for his daughter. If you want stuff like that, then stop here. The workers were nice.

I would not go here for any other reason.

Hub for a little more time with this and I think it would have to do it again tomorrow and will get done at least a discount bringing it to a new neck on the back side and then it would have to go back and look for a little bit more time with the neck pickup and then you know how it works on your own home and I'll get it to the game but...
