If there were negative stars that is what I would rate. I took my daughters school close shopping last weekend as they love this store.
Unfortunately, the dressing rooms were still closed for COVID which I was fine with since we could try the clothes on at home and return what did not fit.
When I checked out the cashier stated "you have 14-days to return the merchandise". Unfortunately, she failed to mention the return is for store credit only. Again, not the issue I have, your business, your choice. The issue I have is if the policy was posted or explained for me to understand I would not have made the purchase to begin with.
There was a sign posted fitting rooms closed. Why not post a sign returns are in-store credit only???
The problem I have is how my return was handled by one of the employees.
As my return was started the employee said I would only get store credit. I proceeded with a shocked "what do you mean store credit". He said "that is our policy and your problem". I said "that is fine but your fitting rooms are closed and if we could have tried the close on, we would have know they did not fit and made the purchase in the first place". Again your store, your choice.
I than asked if I could speak to a manager. Snarky and rude he said "I am one of the managers". I asked "do you have a general manager I can speak to". He said no, she is not in until Tuesday. I politely asked for his name so I could report his representation of Urban Planet to her. He again replied very rudely "I don't have to give that to you". I said "that is fine, I will refer to you as a$$hole".
My suggestion to you Urban Planet. Notify your customer about your in-store credit return policy before the transaction if your fitting rooms are closed.
Show some more customer service than the people you have representing your store at the...
Read moreFalsely accuses customers of shoplifting for simply wearing their product!! Came to shop after work and happened to be carrying my work shoes while wearing slides I previously purchased. Mind you the two women acknowledged me when I came in. Not to mention I was on the phone almost the whole time I was in this store. Browsed their new selection as I LOVE their sandals and slides, didn’t find any I liked and left to a different store. While Browsing a different store Security approaches me as I was shopping (HOW EMBARRASSING) stating I stole the shoes I was wearing!!! and I tell them exactly what happened. Apparently carrying your work shoes while wearing other ones is very suspicious even when you’ve had them on your feet before you’ve even entered the stores general vicinity!! I myself work for a HUGE retail company in the very same mall and have PLENTY of experience around customer service and AP. This store does NOT know assuming positive intent and prevention through service. Try connecting with your customers before assuming they’ve stolen. Let alone WHEN THEY HAVENT EVEN SHOWN EXTERNAL INDICATORS. A simple “are you finding what you’re looking for” would have prevented this whole deal as your fitting room associate would have seen I had ALREADY been wearing said slides, let alone the fact they’re so worn the label is faded!!! Glad to say I will NOT be returning to this location. Do better and educate yourselves in proper asset protection training to prevent future embarrassment for...
Read moreCici the manager short lady with curly hair disturbingly was smoking her vape on the floor. None of the employees was being helpful more of this lollygagging and folding an organize clothes, standing talking to other coworkers. For them to have a line with more than 10 customers standing in it with one person at the cash register at first I ask a young man if they can open up another cash register he said one moment and walked away then three minutes later I asked the manager cc. Can they open up another cash register and she told me with a very aggressive tone of voice, that everyone is on break right now, after she just helped the woman at the cash register, which was only her with another customer doing a return she was standing at the cash register so then, as soon as I finally get up the line after standing in line for 15 minutes for two shirts she opened up the cash register, and the girl at the cash register asked if i found everything all right and I said no you guys just had me standing in line for 15 minutes while there was another associate helping the girl at the cash register put my two shirts in a bag so in total, there was three employees behind the counter, and only one of them was operating the cash register. I would recommend avoiding the manager cc with the rose tattoos on her arm at all costs. She is very rude and unprofessional, and just not a woman that should be working in a...
