Vendor's Plaza — Local services in Charlotte Amalie

Haggle your way to the finest fake Michael Kors and Coach bags made in China from this tented flea market like plaza. Yep, everything here is a knock off and don't be shy to negotiate a good price for anything you want. If a vendor here thinks you are a tourist they will jack up the price and don't be afraid to walk away if they don't give in too.

Vendors Plaza is a collection of about 15-20 tents and a few food trucks (by the parking lot) that sells souvenirs, St. Thomas trinkets, cheap beach clothing, fake bags, and jewelry ( especially larimar jewelry- gemstone only found in the Dominican Republic). They also have a hair braiding station that will braid hair for $2 a strand.

Post hurricanes the vendors have slowly returned and most of them have only set up shop when the cruise ships are in. This is a stop worth seeing once on your way to Main-street (where the jewelry stores are) from Havensight (where cruise ships dock). I say once because things are cheap here but not priced that way.
