Felt more like taking the SAT then playing a escape room. Interaction in the room isn't very creative either, be prepared for combo lock hell.
The guy running the room came in and started giving spoliers which would have prevented us from attempting it again later. I stopped him and politely asked to extend one hour paying the full price, as the two of us got pretty close to finishing an 8 person room in one hour. They flat refused. They had literally zero additional bookings after us for the rest of the day... this is the first escape room that has refused to take our money to extend when they were wide open following our group. We got done at 1:30, and the next session doesn't start until 3:30 (which was empty anyway). They had plenty of time to reset the room.
Unimpressed. Check out the rooms...

They put us with another group of four saying the maximum for the room was eight. Eight was way too many for the room with how the room were set and that you had to solve one puzzle at a time. A lot of the time, people were just standing around because not everyone could be involved. I know neither party enjoyed themselves. Four people in the room would have been perfect but eight was way to many.
The puzzles were challenging, the host was good and the room could have been fun. I'm giving one star because we did not enjoy our experience being thrown in with four other people and I've reached out to Deadwood Escape Rooms with my thoughts and they have...
