Let me start by saying the vow portion and unity was beautiful. He did a good job with that part but.... Our wedding day wasn't as we planned it was raining so we didn't get to go up the sky lift, which was the whole reason of doing the package in the first place. We had to do it in the hotel lobby which was an inconvienve on our end as well. Larry was at times being rude and pushy despite the inconvenience of the rain. Staff at the Gatlinburg inn interupted our ceremony to tell people to move their vehicles, and seemed to not consider our ceremonial importance. Afterwards when we were trying to take pictures with family and friends we felt as if we were being rushed off of the hotel premises, my mom wanted a coke out of the vending machine before we left and he told her they didn't have any as she was looking at the machine, because they just kept saying we need to leave. The only good thing was the actually marrying of the two of us otherwise unless you want a Vegas type style wedding I would do something differently. They need to clean their hospitality up and take into consideration that this is a once in a lifetime...
Read moreWas really looking forward to booking our wedding here. Everything seemed totally fine until I asked about the religious portion if the wedding. While the owners have every right to their beliefs and to refused service, the way it was handled was very wrong. I simply explained that we have differing beliefs in our family and wanted to know if the prayer portion could be omitted or potentially shortened. I then even asked to just hear what the prayer was so that I could at least prepare my family for it. (Also, not to mention, I deserve to know what will be said on MY wedding day, don't uou think?!) Larry then got rude with me telling me I needed to go to an atheist chapel. I'm very heartbroken by this as the skylift and gatlinburg in general hold a lot of meaning to my fiance and I. This is now ruined by someone being hateful. Doesn't seem like jesus would like that...

While people have the right to their beliefs, you would think if your going to run a wedding service in a TOURIST area you would recognize that you are a business first and that WHO someone is marrying is really not your business. And if you wanna throw religion in I can go back and forth with you all day. 0 stars. And the way he handled finding out it would be 2 women was even worse the minute you say partner he will change his tone and question you. If you will only perform certain weddings either donât run your services at a tourist attraction. Honestly would have brought my own minister if need be. Just wanted the pretty spot but you have RUINED that too. He who without sin may cast the...
