I hired Lemondy for my wedding-day hair and makeup, and was assigned the lovely artist, Nina, who did a beautiful job. Lemondy was very communicative leading up to the day, and realistic about my vision given it was a humid summer day in June. I wanted to a nod to 60s Italian cinema with a very subtle beehive and cat-eye (elegant without being costume-y) and Nina absolutely nailed it.

She was ultra-professional on the day-of, and a very grounding presence. I was nervous, and Nina was kind and conversational as she worked expertly. She was totally unruffled by the chaos, and chatted with my bridesmaids, offering encouragement and even a lip color sample. We were tight on time, and Nina worked quickly, but did not cut any corners. She did a wonderful job with my makeup, but I was blown away by how quickly she was able to transform my wavy, frizzy hair into a sleek half-up style. We were in a room without AC no less!

Somehow Nina managed to humidity-proof my hair and makeup, and it lasted for the whole night, even though we walked to Central Park, and danced up a storm at the reception!

Nina helped me into my dress, fastened my veil, and ensured that I was 100% ready to go for the ceremony. I could not recommend her highly enough if you need glam for a special event. Alena styled my hair into soft waves that stayed secure yet natural throughout the day. She also crafted a glowing, flawless look that enhanced my natural features without feeling too heavy. Every detail, from the perfectly blended eyeshadow to the subtle lip color, was carefully considered to complement my features and skin tone.

One of the things I appreciated most was how they made me look and feel like myself, just the best version for my big day. Despite the long day and a really fun evening filled with dancing, my makeup held up beautifully.

The preparation process was smooth and enjoyable, putting me and the bridal party at ease. I received countless compliments from guests, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience to start my wedding day.
