Sandman's Workshop — Local services in Pigeon Forge

Buyers beware this business doesn’t stand behind their products. Bought a $200 bench April 2019 as memorial for my Aunt. The top of bench beautiful. We picked it up from Pigeon Forge store and the men loaded it into our vehicle since so heavy. After got home realized their was crack on all sides of base of one of legs. Other leg had chunk of concrete missing from corner. It also had dirt all over it as if sitting outside for period of time. I contacted salesperson and he in turn contacted owner and told me to seal crack with sealer and should be OK. Would not replace legs. I emailed the owner and gave him opportunity to resolve this issue before I made this review but several weeks later no response. My wife and I wandered in on our recent weekend stay, and fell in love with this place. We had driven fro Florida to Pigeon Forge, so taking things with us wasn't a concern. We finally settled on a decorated tortoise that looks amazing on our front porch. I would have loved the alligator they had, but we had already blown our budget for the weekend.

The employees were very helpful. They politely explained how things worked as we walked in, offered a few suggestions on things we stopped to look at, but I didn't feel any real pressure to buy anything. I'm the kind of person that rarely asks for help in a store, and while I can find such attention a bit annoying, they stayed just short of that line.

I love rocks and saw their beautifully engraved, natural rocks as we were walking around. So, naturally, we had to go inside! I'm so happy we did. We found the perfect piece of stone to get engraved. We were leaving the next day, so they agreed to engrave it for us that day since they are closed on Sundays. I love that they put the image on the computer screen and add what you want on it so they you can see exactly how it will look and make any needed adjustments before paying.
