Attached to the Old Mill Restaurant by a walkway on the corner is the Old Mill General Store. They share a parking lot and loud speakers can be heard outside announcing names for dining in the restaurant.
Outside are historical references on the wall, a door leading into the mill area for tours and various items for purchase on the porch. Inside you walk into the past with rustic themes, homemade items everywhere, souvenirs, kitchen items, books, bake goods, candy, black bear options, etc.
Tourists come from everywhere just to experience the charm. Cameras are clicking, people having their pictures taken and simply enjoying a moment back in time.
Prices range from affordable to a little expensive and they have cornered the market on certain items which only they sale. It is worth a visit and exploring the store is free.
The staff is engaging, friendly and helpful. If they don't have something they will tell you where to find it.

We DID NOT tour the mill itself, just went into the General Store. Sort of like a Cracker Barrell.... curtsey, overpriced junk that you can buy the same of on Amazon cheaper. Ohh and your biggest clue to what i'm referring to is the HUGE volume "personalized" stickers, magnets, keychains etc...
I bought some Grits and Flour... so hopefully that makes up for the hassle of navigating through 30+ tourists in a SMALL store maximizing their experience with buying overpriced...

That was very beautiful and neat to know that this is what powered the old mill. They were sampling the corn fritters that are made in the old mill restaurant. That was delicious. We did not get to check out the restaurant but plan to in the future. Check out our full vlog review of the Mill at Pigeon Forge on YouTube at The...
