On December 26, 2023, my wife and I went into Trolley Stop. We thought it looked like they had some great “trinkets” that we might want to take home. While looking at a shot glass, and trying to remove it from the tightly packed shelf, a glass fell and broke on the floor. I offered to pay for it, $3.99, but the floors person that helped “ME” clean it up made mention of a “ghost” that randomly throws the shot glasses, and it probably wouldn’t be necessary. To my surprise, the “store manager” did in-fact have me pay. My wife inquired as to whether the other area beyond the wall was theirs as well. Once the manager acknowledged that was also theirs, my wife said in a clear response “great, because we won’t be looking there!” As we exited, I informed them as we were leaving, that her response caused her more business than she could imagine! We discovered the next day that my mother had actually paid with her only 50, but the cashier had given change as if it had been a 20, stealing the other $30 after hearing my mother state "I think this is a 20". The cashier took advantage of my mother's disability. We are absolutely sure this took place as this is the only time my mother paid with cash the entire trip. The damage here went beyond my mother losing $30, because this incident made her feel defeated as though she was too disabled to travel.    Read moreI purchased a Savannah tee-shirt at this store on 3/31/2023. The label on the shirt was XLarge. It wasn't until 4/1/2023 that I noticed that the tag sewn in the back of the shirt said 2X. Because we were leaving before the store opened I could not return it to exchange it for the correct size. I called and talked to the manager and explained the situation and she said that there was nothing that she could do for me. I even asked if I would send it back to the store if she could send me the correct size. She was very rude and said that there was absolutely nothing she could do for me and then she hung up on me. In my opinion she needs a less on good customer service. Buyers be aware if what you buy at this store. My rating would actually be less than a 1 if could give...
