Adam Turner’s haircuts (bookable on Structure’s site) changed my life. I’m not exaggerating and no he did not pay me to make this post 😅.

Adam is very very good at what he does. He can take my vague description of what I want, merge that with what will look good for my face shape and hair type, and quickly do a cut that is somehow exactly what I want, looks good without needing blow drying or styling, and will keep looking good for six months to a year after each cut !

How did this change my life? Growing up, my dad cut my hair until I went to college, and I honestly don’t even remember how I got my haircut through my 20s. I just didn’t pay that much attention, but I did always wonder why other people‘s hair would look great and mine never quite did. I moved to Seattle in 2015 and a friend referred me to Adam. That first cut, I went from long long hair to below my chin. Over the years, we’ve done long, we’ve done short, I’ve changed things around, for every request Adam respects what I want and also makes my hair look good

It’s hard to describe the shift that can happen in your life when you have “good hair.” You have more confidence, and from that people take you a little more seriously, and life can just go a little better for you.

When I first met Adam I was at what we call rock bottom, since then, and over the last decade, things have just kept getting better.

It’s taken me several years to write this review ha ha because it’s personal and emotional, but anyway – if you’re looking for someone to cut your hair, I cannot recommend Adam more highly, honestly I couldn’t recommend anyone for any service more highly.

Charged $350 no show after being a client for almost 2 years spending $300-500/mon and on time 90% of the time within 15min grace period. This was during COVID too when they had little business.

The Manager (Andrea) sent a terrible reply when I asked for refund or store credit to use at future appointments.

She said she saw me arrive late (I confirmed, I was late & apologized.)

Late isn't the issue.

It's how they treated me for being late -- My hairdresser Manzo didn't event text or call me (we have texted before) to see if I was coming. He marked me NO SHOW and waved it off, and when I asked if he could talk to manager about the NO SHOW fee, he did not reply. I finally emailed manager and got this long message.

Interpret however -- but I do not recommend working with Manzo or this Manager (Andrea) at the salon if this is how they treat recurring high spend clients. I was offered a partial refund but they reply is what sucked, and the fact that they don't understand long term CLTV (lifetime value), especially since I visit a lot and refer!

Note: I did text and call earlier (no reply) that I was running late with an interview & if later could work. Since I'm usually the last person in his day and often take the 4 or 5pm slot. I did my best to give them heads up as I knew it was a rare situation but they honestly had terrible responses which surprised me given precious great...
