Pros: They have free consultation time for 15 minutes where in you can go before booking an appointment for your hair and can talk and discuss what you are looking for and what would best suit you.

Cons: Lack of transparency and miscommunication. Even when they realized that they did not communicate clearly, they weren’t ready to do anything about it knowing that I was very disappointed.

I am not going to recommend this place to any of my friends.

Here’s my story: I had to get touch up for my hair. I booked an appointment for consultation. It went good. We discussed about colors and different options I had. I just wanted to be sure about the price so I asked the stylist what would be the the total cost for getting touch up. He told me it is going to be $70 and up the extra color they use. I was fine with it and then he suggested me I get a haircut as I had split ends. I just got my hair cut done 2 months back and I was in no mood to trim my hair. I asked if there was extra charge. He told me it is included. So, I booked an appointment for getting color done.

I went to this place on the day of appointment. Everything went well. Got my color done and then stylist asked me how should I get the hair cut done. I really didn’t want my hair to be cut. I just asked to trim at the ends (one straight trim at the ends with no style or trims anywhere in between) and the bangs. He could see I was in no mood to shorten my hair but just as it was complimentary with cut (which I thought was, as communicated to me), I thought I would get it done. I had also read on their website page that bangs were complimentary for regular customers. So, I finished my touch up and everything and went to pay at the reception. AND they said 160$. I was really SHOCKED. How could the price shoot the price from 70 to 160? I was so pissed off. I told them the hair stylist had told me it was going to be 70$ plus extra color they use and I was here just for touch up. They called the stylist and he told me yes, it was 70 plus extra color and haircut. I had expected extra color to be max 20-25$ so I had somewhere in mind I will pay under 100$. I told him I didn’t ask for hair cut and that he had told me it everything would be done for $70. I explained at the reception and to the stylist that it was just for one straight trim at the ends and bangs. I mean I didn’t even want a haircut. I could have gone to some other place and got the bangs and trim for $10 and here you are charging me extra 60$ or so. They could see how disappointed I was. At one point they decided to discount $10. Hah!!! Then stylist and the receptionist went on to discuss something and said its $160. They just made sorry faces, didn’t do anything about it in-spite of the fact they knew how...

I came in to have my roots touched up with Sydeny. My appointment was scheduled for 8am & I was instructed to show up 15 minutes early. When I arrived the salon was closed. I sat outside waiting to be let in, until another client arrived & called her stylist on their personal cell to let us in (this was after 8am). After being let into the salon, I sat and waited for them to finish setting up before they were ready to see me (meaning my appointment started closer to 8:30am). My service took about 3 hours (just for a root touch up). Then, I left with tiger stripes on the top of my head. You can see a very obvious line where the new highlights end (where Sydney tried to touch my roots up) and the old highlights start. I asked the owner, Lisa, for a partial refund and she declined. She explained that unless she saw my hair in person she could do nothing for me. I was very understanding of that being the "normal policy" but explained that I was out of town assisting family members post hurricane Michael, in Florida, and that I wouldn't be back for a few months. I provided more photos of my hair to try to give Lisa a full view of the service I received & asked her to make an except on the refund. She accused me of altering the images and lying about being in Florida and said that unless she physically touches my hair she would not be willing to issue any kind of a refund. She also stated that I left the salon looking happy (she concluded this from her security video footage not actually seeing me or speaking to me. She was not there) so she felt her "hands were tied". The quality of service I received was not up to the stands of a "professional salon" that The Collage is claiming to be. My parents have owned an Aveda salon (out of state) for the past 12 years. Therefore, I am very familiar with procedures/best practices and VERY disappointed on how the owner Lisa handled...

Fantastic Experience at The Collage Salon

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Collage Salon for a hair treatment, cut, and color, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making me feel comfortable and pampered throughout my appointment. My stylist, Sarah Harding Sanchez, was absolutely amazing! They took the time to truly understand what I was looking for, listening carefully to my concerns and offering helpful suggestions. I was a bit nervous about trying a new color, but Sarah's expertise and confidence put me at ease. They explained the process clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The hair treatment itself left my hair feeling incredibly soft, healthy, and revitalized. My red hair color is absolutely perfect – exactly what I envisioned! And the haircut is fantastic; Sarah did a wonderful job of shaping my hair to complement my features. I've received so many compliments since my appointment! Beyond the excellent service and skill, I also appreciated the salon's cleanliness and attention to detail. Everything was spotless, and the overall experience felt luxurious and relaxing.
