Stopped in at Frank’s Smoking Oak BBQ in Williams AZ and had the smoked chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad—absolutely 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!

I originally had my eye on the baby back ribs, but they were sold out until tomorrow. Honestly, I usually avoid chicken at BBQ spots because it’s almost always dry. But let me tell you—this was the exception! The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. The bun was soft and fresh, the BBQ sauce was spot on, and the homemade potato salad brought me straight back to my childhood. Nothing store-bought here—just creamy, flavorful, and delicious. I cleaned the plate and wanted more!

Portions are generous, the food is packed with flavor, and the only “negative” thing I can say is that I’m mad at myself for not trying this place sooner. If the chicken is this good, I cannot wait to come back...

I’m not a huge brisket fan, but order it anytime I go to a new place just in case someone can surprise me. Frank’s smokin oak BBQ hit that nail on the head today. The brisket had a great flavor, was moist and tender exactly how you always see it but never get to experience. I am thoroughly impressed with the portion sizes and flavor. The slaw was balanced with just enough spice and had a fresh crisp to it and by no means was soggy. The potato salad reminded me of my mom’s fresh potato salad growing up. FRANK! Way to knock it out of the park. Absolutely...

We had supper here last night and this is some of the best BBQ that we’ve ever had. The baby back ribs fell off of the bones with the best smoke flavor. My wife had pulled pork which also was delicious and very tender. The people that have this place are some of the friendliest folks that you’ll run across.
