Restaurant a Pizzeria Latrán — Restaurant in okres Český Krumlov

After walking around Český Krumlov for a couple of hours I was hungry and thirsty and came to this restaurant to dine. The restaurant waitress was nice enough to give me a seat at a table a couple minutes after walking in. However a couple walked in after me, and since I was traveling alone, the waiter had me get up from my table as I was about to order and wait until they cleaned and setup a different table that was smaller which was annoying but I eventually agreed to. But after finally seating at that other table, another couple walks in at which point the tall waiter said that I can either wait for a different table or have them sit at mine. I understand that I am traveling alone but I prefer my space and hope this restaurant learns to respect other people’s spaces. You wouldn’t have a lone traveler sit with a family at their table simply because there’s a shortage of tables. I got up and left without a word to the tall waiter that kept moving me around despite the fact that I was there first.

PSA: If you’re a solo tourist like me, I’d steer clear from this restaurant unless you’re fine with being ordered to move around again and again for a table regardless if you were there...

We arrived for a meal and we were greater by a waiter who told us the kitchen would not be open for 30 minutes, but best to come back in an hours time and he would reserve a table for us..so we went for a bear on a nearby river terrace to wait. On returning we were met by the same waiter who said he was very sorry but they were expecting a large group now and the restaurant was fully reserved. We were mortified and embarrassed and felt this was disgusting treatment by the restaurant..after all we had arrived first and our money is as good as the next persons..we were so humiliated and embarrassed...terrible customer service!!..we left and ate elsewhere and walking past an hour later we were delighted to see that 'their group' had cancelled and only a couple of people were eating at the restaurant..he aproached us and asked us to come in and we politely told him to stick his restaurant where the sun don't shine!!! Served them right!! Would never recommend this restaurant..terrible customer service and I am normally not one...

The interior and service we had at this restaurant was fine. However, my husband received his pizza quite a long time before I received my pasta, and the food was really terrible. The restaurants in Česky Krumlov are generally not great, and this is an ok place if you just want to eat and don’t care very much about what you’re eating. I ordered spaghetti aglio olio which arrived and was not even spaghetti - it looked like some type of udon noodle - and it had absolutely no flavor. It was also extremely overcooked. My husband ordered a pizza, also with no flavor and a truly poor pizza crust that was undercooked. I understand this place exists to make money from tourists, but the food isn’t cheap and it’s not so difficult to even moderately improve the quality of the food if someone here knows...
