Cafe Ebel, located on Kaprova Street in Prague, is a true gem in the heart of the city's Jewish Quarter. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with cozy seating and a friendly staff.

One of the standout features of Cafe Ebel is that they offer kosher coffee, even during Passover. This is a rare and wonderful treat for those looking for a delicious cup of coffee that meets strict dietary requirements. The aroma of the freshly brewed coffee is simply heavenly, and it's clear that the beans are of the highest quality.

While Cafe Ebel's baked goods are not kosher, they still offer some of the best treats in the area. From the flaky croissants to the decadent chocolate cake, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The pastry case is always well-stocked and the variety of options is impressive.

In addition to the delicious coffee and baked goods, the service at Cafe Ebel is outstanding. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions you may have.

Overall, Cafe Ebel is a must-visit for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming cafe in Prague's Jewish Quarter. While their baked goods may not be kosher, the fact that they offer kosher coffee during Passover is a testament to their commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. The coffee alone is worth a visit, but the baked goods and atmosphere make this cafe one of the best...

Not sure how I ended up here, I’ve searched best cafe near the old square and I’ve learned that this cafe have coffee beans from all over the world and offers variety of delicious drinks and chocolate cake the reviews are all here. I walked from my hotel to find this cafe and oh I’m glad I did, I ordered a slice of chocolate hazelnut cake and hot chocolate. The barista was so kind and patient as I was trying to decide what to drink, feel bad because I probably gave that difficult customer vibes. I really wasn’t I was just tired. She is very good spirited and probably gave me a great amount of positive energy. Service was awesome. The dining room was clean cozy and the smell of coffee was pleasant. I shall be back again!! The hot chocolate just...

I visited this café to try an espresso, mainly because of the great reviews and the wide selection of coffee beans. The variety definitely caught my interest.

However, when I watched the tamping process, I started to have doubts. It didn’t seem very consistent or careful, and that raised questions about the overall quality of the preparation.

The espresso was extracted in about 21 seconds, which already made me suspect it would turn out quite sour – and unfortunately, it did. With more attention to technique, I believe the beans could have delivered a much better cup.

There’s definitely potential here, but in my opinion, the execution needs improvement to match the quality...

Fantastic!! We found it on the 2007 lonely planet tourist guide and were absolutely impressed that it survived 2008 and covid. But after eating their delicious desserts and trying their signature coffee blend (they offer a variety of international coffee so if you are a coffee fan this is definitely the place for you) we completely understood why it survived for so long. Truly delicious food and great coffee- perfect for a quick breakfast or a nice catch up over coffee. They don’t have many tables so you have to be lucky but definitely a prague must try!!

Cafe ebel Located close to the busy Astronomical Tower, it has been the gem of our trip. The reviews do not do justice; welcomed by smiley staff, you have plenty of selection drinks and you can also select the beans that you would like to have in your coffee. The quality of the beans are amazing and the selection of pastries it’s outstanding. A 10/10. The place is quite small, with only two tables to sit down if you are lucky but it’s great to have a coffee to go and enjoy a walk around the city. The location is not wheelchair friendly.

Saw this place recommended on someone’s blog and gave it a try. I can say this is the best specialty coffee place I’ve been to in Prague. The coffee they served had a very rich and pleasant taste, with fruity notes and aroma. I Also recommend their home made chocolate with caramel inside, it’s delicious! The place itself is small and cozy, and the barista ladies really know what they are doing. Would definitely visit again if I’m in the neighbourhood.
