Not sure how I ended up here, I’ve searched best cafe near the old square and I’ve learned that this cafe have coffee beans from all over the world and offers variety of delicious drinks and chocolate cake the reviews are all here. I walked from my hotel to find this cafe and oh I’m glad I did, I ordered a slice of chocolate hazelnut cake and hot chocolate. The barista was so kind and patient as I was trying to decide what to drink, feel bad because I probably gave that difficult customer vibes. I really wasn’t I was just tired. I visited this café to try an espresso, mainly because of the great reviews and the wide selection of coffee beans. The variety definitely caught my interest.

However, when I watched the tamping process, I started to have doubts. It didn’t seem very consistent or careful, and that raised questions about the overall quality of the preparation.

The espresso was extracted in about 21 seconds, which already made me suspect it would turn out quite sour – and unfortunately, it did. With more attention to technique, I believe the beans could have delivered a much better cup.

There’s definitely potential here, but in my opinion, the execution needs improvement to match the quality...
