Excellent choice for a tasty food and deserts. We were looking for a pleasant place to have a bite and a drink and Sweet and Salty did not disappoint.
The place is a family run business with a focus on breakfast like dishes (croissants, sandwiches, cereals, salads) as well as desserts and drinks. They have a wide variety of non-alcoholic cold drinks, from which we tasted strawberry lemonade (which was delicious) and vine grape drink which was served in a vine glass which tasted wonderful.
We were served by the son of the owner Dima, who was very helpful explaining all the nuances of the dishes and drinks and recommending just what we needed. His English is very good and he tries his best to serve the customers.
We found the prices to be inexpensive and affordable and the service excellent. The warm drinks menu is as expansive as the cold drinks. We see choosing from coffees and teas but decide to try the fruit teas with the fresh berries - strawberry and raspberry. It went very well with the tasty cakes. Cranberry cake was in particular good. It’s bitter sweet taste was tingling and exciting.
If you stroll around the Old Town whether in the morning, afternoon or evening Sweet and Tasty is right around the corner from the main square. It is open till late - and we were happy to rest the evening there after the long walk...
Read moreThis cafe is one of the best I’ve ever been in! The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly and welcoming, the food was awesome, and the wifi service is really good. We came to Prague to see the Depeche Mode concert, and it made us really happy to hear Depeche Mode playing on the speaker, which was added especially for us by the very considerate workers. There were SO MANY choices - a huge variety of different types of teas, coffees, wines, lemonades, smoothies, juices, and many more beverages. Furthermore, all the sweet pastries were delicious and left you wanting more, while the sandwiches tasted great and were the perfect food to fill me up after a long day of travelling. Also, the bench by the wall with the pillows was super comfy to sit on and relax. Overall, the ambience was very tranquil, calm, comforting, and cozy, and I would recommend you go there to have a nice chat with a friend or chill on your own with a nice drink and an...
Read moreFeel Good Cafe is absolutely worth going to! It was very close to our hotel so we stopped in for breakfast and it was so good! This is a cute little coffee shop/cafe that serves a wide variety of different coffee and tea drinks as well as tons of awesome homemade baked goods, pastries and more. If you’re in Prague and wanting to get some homemade Czech pastries and have excellent service, look no further - the ladies behind the counter were super friendly and nice to talk to. Very accommodating, smiling and more than happy to help! One of the women even gave suggestions of the best things to see around Prague. She was great!! They have a whole wine selection for later in the day and even some gluten-free baked goods (the brownie was available the day we went), so there’s something for everyone. I really like this place and will definitely be coming back next time I...
