No doubt to the beer- was awesome. Alert- personally bad experience with staff! Do check other similar reviews with bad experience of behaviour- rudeness, where the manager has apologised but not to us!

This one star rating is the ill - mannered behaviour of the giant waitress who acted racist and rudely to us! She made fun of my vegetarian friend’s choices of food saying- “ this czech republic! Everything is pork here, you as a tourist should know ( racist) !l” Well we aren’t tourists here we study and work here! Secondly, Instead of politely suggesting when not even asked -she implied that we dont know anything regarding beer and we have to depend on her for what we wanna drink!

Please if you have no manners for how to treat diverse customers- DO NOT KEEP SUCH WORKERS !! Never going back! How ironic- such good beers with so cold hearted workers!

Reply to manager- you are adamantly saying that this situation has never happened instead of apologising, but i see several one star review with bad behaviour where you have apologised but not to us - it’s obvious you are racist here !! its public - and denying with reply as if you was there- and with the same arrogant tone and saying we were rude not telling out problems 😂 how ironic lol!

The waitress was quite rude and unwelcoming. She didn't let us scan the menu properly and insisted that we order immediately. Also when my friend asked "are these cold meals?"(and she was just asking the group, not the waitress), she overheard it and rudely responded "we are a bar. We have drinks and cold meals, if you don't know". Later, one of my friends asked if one sandwich in the menu had pork, cause she doesn't eat pork for religious reasons. The waitress again replied rudely that "you are in Czech Republic, everything is with pork here". I don't generally label people as racist, but that lady's manners were pretty racist and uncomfortable.

The beer was good, but I still don't think it was worth bearing the attitude of the waitress.

EDITED: Funnily, the restaurant manager thinks the best move is just to refute it and claim it never happened. Well, from other reviews, it's obvious we aren't the only one encountering the same issue. If you don't want bad reviews, just teach your staff some politeness and awareness of diversity instead of refuting every single...

The staff is rude and condescending.

Response to owner: We showed him that it was well below the line. He argued that it would finish, which is against the law. He was very rude and condescending the whole time. When he finally fixed it (filled the liquid up to the line, per the law), he basically threw the drink on the table in front of me and said "You're wrong" and stormed off. I've been living in this country for over 2 years, and I've never had such rude service.

My friend left that tip because he thought that you're supposed to leave a large tip in this country, even if the service is bad. He's since learned his lesson.

I've had nothing but good experiences at Kwak Bierhaus, where they have super friendly staff that never try to cheat you on quantities. For those reading this review, go...
