I was skeptical about this place after reading the reviews.. but our tour guide recommended this place to us so I thought I should ignore the bad reviews and try this place for good food atleast!! My biggest mistake!! The bad reviews are true to its words!!

Food: portion wise it was just enough for light eaters. As shown in the picture we got 2 whole sausages cut into halves, pieces of pork neck and some thin slices of something I can’t remember Over a bed of red and white cabbages With two types of dumplings (potatoes and bread type) I have never given any food as 1* in my life so far!! But this one!! Meat was too salty!! to a level you can’t eat more than 5-6 spoon full. Ok you can adjust the salt eating with dumplings but those dumplings were equally bad!! I wish they could have just served boiled potatoes instead of wasting them in making dumplings. It was simply tasteless!! I ate one piece and had to leave the rest 4pieces of those potato dumplings!! I could be wrong if those were not potato dumplings but something else!! It is unrecognisable. The soft bread type dumplings were the only good thing in this whole casserole of food. And i am not comparing food just out of the blue!! I have eaten similar food in cesky and kutna as well so i know what a good dumpling taste like.. i know how the meat is seasoned perfectly.. and i know how the cabbages should taste like in czech cusine. This place just disrespected the food.

Ambience: cozy and warm vibes

Service: as per expectation.

And its TRUE that they charge 10% for service.. and after eating the food i was not interested to pay for the food itself left alone the service tip!! I denied to pay for tip straight away. And i don’t care what others present there think about me or how the...

동양인 대놓고 차별하는 인종차별주의자 식당. 한국인은 절대!!!!! 가지 마세요. 영어로 강하게 항의했음에도 적반하장으로 나옵니다. 백인에게만 잘합니다.

This restaurant is an absolute disgrace and a haven for blatant racism. As an Asian customer, I was treated with nothing but hostility and contempt from start to finish.

The service was appalling: our food took an unreasonably long time to arrive, while other (non-Asian) tables, who arrived much later, were served quickly and efficiently. The staff didn’t just ignore us—they went out of their way to be outright rude. They slammed our food on the table as if we were beneath them.

The discrimination didn’t stop there. When it was time to pay, we were told “cash only”—but shockingly, white customers were allowed to pay by card if they waited a few minutes. We were forced to leave the restaurant and find an ATM, a clear attempt to inconvenience us because of our race.

When I confronted the staff about their behavior, they smirked, ignored me, and continued to be condescending and dismissive. It was one of the most humiliating and infuriating experiences of my life.

This restaurant is run by racists who should not be allowed to operate in a civilized society. If you value basic human decency, especially if you are Asian, stay far away from this disgusting place. I will ensure this review is shared widely so others are warned about the vile discrimination that...

I had my heart set on pork knuckle. I have not been to Europe in over 10 years and I heard it was really good in Czech. The most recommended place.had a line that was not moving and they could not tell us how long it would take. This was our back up. We could not find anybody to sit us for awhile, but it was nice to be seated in a quiet spot after the street crowds.

I ordered the pork knuckle and my wife ordered a sausage. She wanted something else but the grill was shut down so a lot of the menu was unavailable.

The pork knuckle was very disappointing. I thought my memory was wrong about how good they are. It was like boiled meet that I had to find from with a bunch of blubber with rubbery skin. My wife’s was also not good. We had two beers and two glass of wine and it was over 1,200 in Czech ( and I added a tip of 100 in cash not knowing how bad this was and they probably already charged the tip on My card)

I did some research and found that I was right - the skin is supposed to be crackly and edible, so I went back to. My first choice (Pork’s) . It was as good as I remembered it with crackly skin and drier meet which eas nicely seasoned and succulent. My wife’s again had a sausage which was great. We each had one drink and a bottled water . This came to 1000 Czech. Very good.

This Pinkasu place seemed to have more locals. Maybe that is...

Behold: The Glasser HQ. More than a restaurant—this is a cathedral for the devoted glass appreciator, a sacred waypoint on any pilgrimage through Prague’s labyrinth of history and light. The food? Worthy of the occasion—honest, hearty Czech classics that refuse to apologize for their heft. The svíčková could anchor a lesser mortal to this plane for weeks. The beer flows with the steady calm of a place that knows it has nothing to prove. Service is a quiet ballet: brisk without being brusque, always with the unspoken understanding that you are here for something greater than mere nourishment. Atmosphere? Imagine a tavern where the walls have seen more stories than most people ever will—and still manage to smile. Every beam and arch a silent witness. And the windows—the Glassers, for the initiated—are unnecessarily, absurdly large in the best possible way. They remind you that it is perfectly acceptable to sit here in wordless awe, wondering how something so excessive can feel so right. A gentle reminder to all who enter: Don’t let the excellent food and beer distract you from the true purpose of your visit—studying these monumental panes of glass and paying your respects. If you only have time for one meal in Prague—make it here. Stand in the courtyard. Look up. Remember why you came.

This place is just a 10-minute walk from my room. According to Google Maps, it opens at 10 AM, but only the bar is available at that time—the kitchen starts service at 11:30 AM. I returned at 11:30 to try their traditional cuisine pork knee. The layout seems divided into two sections: one for the kitchen and another purely for drinks. However, no one directed us where to sit, so we found ourselves standing and wandering until someone informed us that seating was open. Based on Google Maps reviews, service here doesn't seem to be excellent. My wife and I ordered traditional pork knee, fried cheese, and garlic bread. Since my wife doesn't eat pork, it ended up being quite a lot for the two of us. We absolutely loved the fried cheese: the grilled pork was tender and flavorful. We asked for a to-go box and brought the leftovers back to our room. During our lunch, the service staff were friendly and occasionally checked in with us to see if we needed any additional assistance.
