This place is 🔥! Beautiful bar with views of the city, ambience, good music, exquisite cocktails and large selection of champagnes and wines. Loving the vibe.
Robert their bar manager is a connoisseur of cocktails, specialising in gin tonics. He is like a DJ of mixology! Blending elixirs, teas, and herbs into flavor bombs. Watching him make a drink was fascinating. He's a perfectionist and his drinks are works of art. So if your drink takes a little longer to get to you keep this in mind. If you want something quick order a shot, whisky or wine.
And speaking of wine, the bar also carries a nice selection of wines and champagnes. Talk to Peter, their wine sommelier. He has an extensive knowledge of wines from all regions and is more then willing to make a recommendation based on your taste.
Definitely stop in if you get the chance.
Ps. I'm quite surprised with a few of the comments about the staff. I met five members of the staff and each was so personable, funny, pleasant and extremely accommodating. It's possible you just caught them...
Read moreWent in smiling, came out quite disappointed. Despite it not being busy, our waiter made it clear that he wasn't happy to be serving the two of us. (My girlfriend and I.) We are always polite and not demanding of anything. However, everything was a chore for him, and his rude attitude extended to making us go into the bar area to pay, even though he had brought the card reader out for other tables. The bartender dropped her smile the moment she saw us and rudely asked us to wait for the waiter when I asked if she was the one to pay. After the waiter stood next to us and practically yelled the bill amount loud enough for other patrons to stop and stare, we paid and left. We have been in Germany and Czechia for about 10 days, and this is the first time that we've been treated so rudely. Needless to say, we don't recommend this place, even as a...
Read moreFantastic drinks, atmosphere and staff. If you are only going for drinks and atmosphere this is a excellent place and you are going to have a blast.
The drinks were exquisite and challenged the tastebuds and our regular understanding of gin and tonics!
The food was great too, however, the plates we very small and not really what we expected in terms of size and variation. The staff were not clear on whether the size were for one two or three people. I would say just for one. The taste and quality was great.
The plates were accompanied by bread, which was dry and cold. It would have been a much better experience with warm, fresh and even homemade bread.
All in all a great experience. That we can recommend! We went out for drinks which is why I'm giving 5 stars. If the main reason had been dinner I would have...
