Vagon Music Pub & Club — Restaurant in Prague

If you like live music and good tribute bands, I would recommend this place. The Ozzy/Black Sabbath & AC/DC revival bands sounded great! I felt a good energy within the crowd. Around midnight, the place gets packed with a lot of young kids, DJ throws in some old rock n roll tunes and songs which are so worn out, you just don't want to listen to them anymore. His playlist doesn't seem to change. It is a complete atmosphere spoiler. But hey, everyone has got a different opinion. The kids seemed to be happy bouncing on the dancefloor. Již dva roky do Vagónu chodím poslouchat skvělou hudbu, ale bohužel ani jedna moje návštěva se neobešla bez značných obtíží s obsluhou a s majiteli tohoto klubu. Nepříjemný barman s brýlemi (předpokládám majitel), nepříjemná barmanka s černými vlasy, a třešinka: nepříjemná ostraha před barem. Je fakt milé, když Vás u příchodu dokáže hned někdo z obsluhy naštvat. Nikdy jsem nezažila tak nepříjemný a HRŮZOSTRAŠNÝ přístup k zákazníkům a ke kapelám jako zde. Dnes jsem tu absolutně naposled a už sem nikdy nepřijdu. Na truc jsem si ani nic na baru dnes nekoupila. Upřímně si myslím, že tento klub je hluboce pod úrovní všech kapel v okolí. Kdybych mohla nedám ani jednu hvězdičku. A ceny – to si už vážně děláte srandu - 75 Kč za 0,3l cola s rumem (a to byla sklenice plná ledu)?

For two years now, I've been coming to Vagón to listen to great music. Unfortunately, I have encountered considerable problems with the bar staff and owners every single time I have visited this club. A rude bartender with glasses and long hair (supposedly the owner), a rude lady bartender with black hair, and the cherry on top: the unpleasant guards by the entrance. It’s truly great when right upon your arrival the staff manages to piss you off right off the bat and ruin your entire evening. I have never experienced such a rude and terrible approach towards customers and bands alike. Today is the very last time I am here. I also did not purchase anything from the bar tonight. I honestly think that all the bands that play here deserve much better treatment than this. If I could, I wouldn’t give any stars. So this was my first time going to Vagon as I was just passing by and I had no idea that tickets were to be bought at the door. I walked in and checking if the security needed anything from me and he just gave a nod which I thought was the OK to pass through but apparently not which alright then no biggie I’ll just pay for the ticket fair enough, no harm done but the guy who checks the ticket goes on a MASSIVE power trip and gets aggressive towards me like it’s not that deep bro lol. Why gatekeep… just very pompous...
