Bar Poldo — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Exremely rude and unprofessional staff! We came in looking for a toilet, the bar was open but had no guests at the time so I saw no problem in asking this. I first asked him in swedish but the guy behind the bar acted like he didn't understand me so I asked him in english. Then the guy started laughing and basically told us we were idiots and that we should go to McDonald's instead. (a simple "no" would've sufficed) We didn't think more of it but decided to give this place one star because of the rudeness that was completely uncalled for.

But what got me to write this review of this wreck of a bar was that the guy owning it started sending us mails containing screenshots of our "rating" of this place(as some kind of weird threat?) and even looked us up on social media and started harassing us in dms why we were giving them one star.

Don't go to this place, if the food and drink is as bad as their conduct, you'll probably die from...

Warning for this place! Terrible behavior from the owner and the workers.

I emailed the owner a longer version of following text: I visited your bar and paid 235 DKK for my bill with 300 DKK in cash. When I asked for my change, the bar staff claimed they didn't know where the money went. I was disappointed by their behavior and felt poorly treated. I kindly request that you address this issue to prevent it from happening again in the future.

I got a kind and respectful answer from the owner saying that I can go there to get my money back.

My friend went there and the owner was not happy about this. He told her that his staff is not stealing and that they are a cashless bar. He gave her 65DKK in coins, throwing them in front of her saying "cash is cash".

I visited Bar Poldo on Saturday, August 23rd with some friends, and it turned out to be a truly delightful experience. The place is cozy and stylish, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
