Racist, disgusting! Place was half empty when a group of us wanted to come in and were stopped by this unpleasant and rude Albanian security who asked where are we from and denied us entry because of our nationality! We openly asked why and he said that the owner is Albanian (from Kosovo) and doesn’t allow Serbs to come in!? Imagine, in 2019 in Germany you’re facing racism and fascism. We’re not even sure is this true about the owner or this terrible Albanian just made that up. In any case he should be fired and arrested. Point is, he openly asked about nationality and then denied entry because of it and we have proof. Place should be closed permanently.

Edit: 5 years! later the place has initiated their lawyers to complain about the comment and influence its removal. This begs the question why didn’t they do it earlier if what they’re claiming (that it didn’t happen) is true? Very unprofessional way to artificially bump up Google review score. We found this place to be a bit of a tourist trap. We were caught out after leaving dinner a bit late, with other restaurants’ kitchens already closed for the night, and the waiter welcomed us in off the street. After quickly looking up the google rating, we thought we would be okay - but to be honest it was a very underwhelming experience. Food and drink were affordable but the quality matched the price - the chicken schnitzel tasted as though it had been frozen prior (and manufactured - the meat was minced and made into a chicken patty). Potatoes were nice. Cocktails had plenty of alcohol but no pizzazz, all served in normal tall glasses which you would use for your water. When we went to pay we were only then informed that the venue was cash only. Not having cash on us, we were forced to use their own ATM in-venue which came with a large fee, about 6 or 7 Euros. It was poor customer service and misleading not to inform us of this...

No draught beer, which is weird for anything in Germany. As far as bottled beer goes, sure, it was satisfactory. I had no problem drinking from the blinding array of Beck's varieties, but a draught would have really sealed the f-in deal, man. You know?
