Today, I had the pleasure of indulging in some Korean Fried Chicken at Wondeo Chicken in Berlin, and let me tell you, it was a taste sensation!
We sampled a variety of dishes, including the Topoki Chicken with rice cake and the Royal Chicken with mozzarella cheese. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left us craving for more.
The Royal Chicken, with its crispy exterior and tender interior, was elevated to new heights with the addition of gooey mozzarella cheese and sesame seeds. It was a delightful combination of textures and flavors that had us hooked from the first bite.
Next, we tried the Topoki, which had just the right amount of spice to tantalize our taste buds. The chewy rice cake paired perfectly with the tangy barbecue hot sauce, creating a symphony of flavors that left us wanting more.
To top it off, we tried their signature spicy sauce, which packed a punch of heat that lingered deliciously on the palate.
Overall, our experience at Wondeo Chicken was nothing short of amazing. From the crispy fried chicken to the flavorful sauces, each dish showcased the restaurant's dedication to authentic Korean flavors.

Read moreI found this place by accident. I went to the supermarket opposite for something and smelled the fried chicken. I was hungry, so I gave it a go. I’m glad I did. It’s very tasty. The chicken was freshly cooked and the batter was crispy with a hint of garlic. I got the sweet and sour sauce which was quite mild. I’d go for a more spicy sauce next time. I also got fries which were fine. Like some of the other reviews. I would have preferred rice. But it’s not an option. I was given a ‘salad’. I’ve no idea what it was. It looked like white turnip and didn’t have much of a taste. I suspect it’s a Korean favourite. There’s a tiny area to eat. Don’t expect atmosphere. It's in a shopping centre. But if you fancy some fried chicken. This is well worth checking out. Not expensive either....
Read moreAmazing Korean fried chicken just off Alexanderplatz. Very tasty. Located inside a shopping centre with a small area for dining in off to the side with around 5 tables.
We stopped for a quick lunch and got the honey butter dream chicken bites (6) with some chips on the side and a soft drink. Cost €14.80 for one person and was very filling. My girlfriend could hardly finish her meal. Chicken sizings are generous, plenty of delicious sauce and a decent portion of chips.
Staff are nice and very quick to serve. Seating area is a bit small - we were originally given take-away boxes because there was no table free when we were ordering but we managed to get a seat when another customer left.
Highly recommended but be conscious there may not be seating...
