Nice Buddhist flags outside are contrary to the combative mean customer service and bad food.

My experience this week still is leaving a bad feeling in me.

I ordered a wrap to go, and expressed I had to be somewhere in 30 minutes and asked how long it would take: 10 minutes, they said.

20 min later....still waiting for my wrap. Tables with groups that arrived after me were all served first. Getting anxious, I nicely checked in and let my need be known that I had to leave within 10 minutes, would by wrap be ready by then?

The staff snapped at me and began to be rude. “It’s not ready yet!”

10 min later, still no wrap and I really had to leave.... so I asked the staff to give my wrap to my friends who kindly stayed to collect it for me.

My friends waited yet ANOTHER 30 minutes for my wrap. After seeing people be served, eat and leave, my friends asked AGAIN for the wrap and then were given it within TWO MINUTES.

So I finally got the wrap and it had old tomatoes that smelled and I had to throw away, and some meager roasted vegetables.

I truly don’t understand what went wrong here. Why were they mean to us? It felt like they were annoyed about us having a time limitation and set off to sabotage us.

I have lived in Amsterdam for five years, and this was over the top rudeness. Will also write a note to the owners because this was a stupidly bad experience that only spread bad feelings, instead of the good feelings the setting would seem to...

Despite I ve been there lots of times, the service on 28.10.22 was exceptionally slow, rude and abused their power serving food by not offering service after putting in our complain, for waiting 30 min for a sandwich and a cake ( drinks I served them to my table myself). I have been in horeca bussiness as a chef for 2 decades, this was a non methodical, chetachatting team of 2 that had a high idea of them selves.when I said they guys u should find a better pace w this, we over an hour, they were so high of themselves saying the serve w a smile and do the best they can. I'm like not true, I'm inside 3 times already and you have no focus, no structure and u gossip most of the Time, been slow and disoriented. They deny to serve us further after I told him to stop gossiping me, serve me and respect his customers. He had the expectation I respect him first, while I have lost my time waiting, my patient and all rights I have as a customer. I will definately escalate...

This place is great. It's so cute, welcoming and homely.

We went here a few times for coffee as it was right next to our hotel. On our last day we ate food there, I had the Fire Burger which came with a handful of side crips and my partner got the chicken wrap which came with a handful of salad. The food was reasonably priced around €7 for each but very very tasty.

Service was always great, the staff were friendly and welcoming.
