I’ve been a devoted fan of Amorino for years—it’s been a sweet little tradition for me in every country I’ve visited where it exists. The quality is always consistent, and the experience usually comes with a smile. That’s why I was so excited to visit the Lisbon location.

Lisbon itself is full of warmth and kind-hearted people, but sadly, this particular Amorino didn’t reflect that spirit. Despite waiting patiently and smiling, I was completely overlooked while the staff seemed focused only on catering to those who looked like tourists. The disregard felt personal and, honestly, a bit disrespectful.

It breaks my heart to say it, but this experience left a bitter taste in a place I’ve always associated with sweetness and joy. I hope this was just an off day and not the norm—because Amorino should feel welcoming...

Staff were deliberating contaminating vegan/dairy free sorbets with ice cream containing dairy. Staff misunderstood my order and offered me a sorbet and ice cream. I corrected the team, who began removing the ice cream. I objected and requested a fresh order however staff continued to remove the ice cream containing dairy and put the sorbet back in the full container!!! I pointed out to staff (Nuria) that they were contaminating dairy free with dairy and COULD KILL SOMEONE with an allergy. Their response - we declare that we cannot fully guarantee that all products are free of allergens and “may contain”. This was a deliberate and intentional contamination and utterly reckless behaviour. Endangering people’s lives. Absolute Shame on your...

Amorino ice creams are over rated. Very few and boring flavours, and the quality is barely OK. Update: the owner responded talking about "25 flavours"... That is not true. There were barely 10 flavours available. As said, overrated ice-creams. Update 2: the owner answered again with a list of flavours that is a fake. Less than half of those were available. On top of that, and as I said, this is an overrated ice cream shop. Their "best" quality is the way they present their cones with the flower style shape of the ice cream. Other than that, the ice cream is barely average. And, again, is not true they have availability of all the flavours they list. Is a pity I didn't take a picture to...

Great service. Small shop if you want to sit inside you have to be lucky that there is a spot left. The lines can get long but the workers work fast and you won't be in line for too long. Love the concept of paying for your cup or cone, and then telling them how many flavors you want, you can choose however many you want. Delicious ice cream, and a big variety of flavors. Cute flower as well. I have to go get some amorino ice cream every time I'm in a city that has a location there. Definitely recommend it

Amorino Gelato is a must-try if you're in Lisbon and craving some delicious gelato! The flavors are incredible, and the staff is super efficient. Just be mindful of the heat during peak summer. Pros: * Gelato tastes great, so does the cone * Caramel and chocolate combination is divine * Only one staff member was working, but she was efficient and handled the crowd calmly * Plenty of space to sit Cons: * Can get hot in the shop during summer, we couldn't bear staying longer inside to enjoy the gelato

The ice cream here is very good, and if you prefer a cone then the staff, who were really friendly and welcoming, can shape the ice cream into sections like the petals of a flower. This takes a bit of extra time, so you may find that there is a bit of a queue. One of the good things about the way they serve the ice cream is that even if you order a small cup or cone, you can still choose a selection of flavours. There is a small amount of seating inside, or you can take away.
