One Friday evening after a couple of particularly stressful weeks my husband decided to cut out of work early and take his wife out for a fine dining experience to help alleviate some of the frustrations of every day life. So we got a sitter for our five children and he whisked me off to VB Steakhouse in Arlington. I was so excited to go but honestly a bit tired from a long week. However, the moment we walked into this establishment we were greeted warmly and promptly seated at the best table in the restaurant, right near the crackling fireplace. The ambiance was so warm and relaxing. As our hostess seated us we were quietly surrounded by what seemed like eight ninjas dressed all in black who quickly and silently placed our silverware, dining cards and sparkling glasses of ice water and the most delicious little appetizers and bread on the table and then disappeared as fast as they as they had come. It was almost magical. We were greeted warmly by the manager and he explained to us how everything worked and then the waiter showed us to the appetizer and salad buffet. The buffet was exquisite and lovely, full of so many fresh mouthwatering treats. As a person who doesn’t typically eat a large amount of meat on a daily basis I really felt I could have come just for the salad buffet and been perfectly satiated by that alone. Then came the meat! Oh the meat! Every so often one of the meat servers would appear and quietly walk by with their offerings, which only got better and better as the evening went on. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth perfectly tender and juicy. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to live it up a bit and get the full experience, so we also tried some of the specialty menu items like the old-fashioned and the flaming coffee with a slice of cheesecake, and the lemoncello drink after our meal. The old fashioned was was the most beautiful I have ever seen or tasted. The custom piece of ice and garnishments were perfection. The flaming coffee presentation was an absolute work of art that left me gasping and clapping as though I were at the circus! We raved to friends about that flaming coffee for days. The dessert was heavenly, the service was top notch, the food was delicious! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back. Our special thanks to our waiter who never missed a beat, and the manager Ryan who checked in with us and made sure our experience was impeccable- we thank you so SO much for a much-needed escape from this crazy world if even for just a few hours. Great job guys keep up the...
Read moreThis is a very pushy atmosphere and staff want you out of there asap! The food is fine...nothing you wouldn't get at any other Brazilian steakhouse though...and EVERY other one I have visited is much more engaging and the experience is a huge part of the reason to visit! Seriously, we had a teen not feeling well, and before he ate anything or even ordered a drink, he went to the car to sleep. They asked me 50 times if he was coming back, we said no every time, they just kept asking anyways. Over and over again...every single person that walked by asked multiple times!! We were started on the meats before we turned our cards to green...we hadn't even been to the salad bar yet! My wife and daughter turned cards to red when they were finished, but every single server tried to give them food. They could care less. We were done in about 30 minutes...no dessert, no seafood, no top cuts, and lamb was offered one time. No refills on drinks, no one offered any info about the food and I could have eaten at Outback for half the price and twice the fun. Finally, they charged me for my son that never even got a water. That frustrated me a ton, but actually, u am honestly just trying to rate the experience for readers...and not including that as a negative. My bad rating has nothing to do with that and everything to do with my belief that you are 100% more likely to have a positive experience at ANY of the other Brazilian steakhouses in the Dallas area. We will never...

“Meat Me in Heaven—With a Side of Service Royalty”
If you’ve ever dreamed of being royalty—but instead of a crown, you wear stretchy pants—VB Steakhouse is your palace.
From the moment we sat down, Wendell’s team treated us like Brazilian BBQ royalty. They didn’t just bring the meat… they summoned it. Skewers of sizzling, juicy goodness kept coming like a delicious protein parade. At one point, I looked down and realized I was sitting atop a mountain of meat. Glorious.
Plates disappeared like magic (seriously, I think they hired ninjas), and our glasses never reached half-empty. Every time I blinked, someone was refilling something, slicing something, or smiling while enabling my meat addiction.
The salad bar is fresh, vibrant, and beautifully laid out… and yet I only gave it a respectful nod before diving back into the main event: more steak. More lamb. More bacon-wrapped anything. I briefly considered stopping, but Wendell must’ve seen it in my eyes—he sent over the ribeye reinforcements. That man gets it.
By the time we left, we were full, grateful, and deeply impressed by a team that made indulgence feel like fine dining with friends.
Final verdict: Come hungry. Leave euphoric. And if Wendell’s crew is on duty? Prepare to be pampered with a full plate, full glass, and full heart. Five stars, stretchy pants highly...
