Hands down, the absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. On Sept. 6, 2024 at around 5:45pm, I ordered 2 kids meals online. Just wanted to catch a quick bite to eat with my kiddo before going to an O's game. A few minutes after they received the order, one of the staff members informed me they didn't have any little john bread (6 inch loaf). I then asked if they could make the sandwiches on an 8 inch bread since the problem was on their end. Another staff member (who had just arrived to the store on his bicycle) then rudely snapped back that I could buy an 8" sub. I reiterated that since the problem was on their end, they should try to make the situation right. With even more attitude, he snapped back that they would issue a refund and I could just leave. Confused, I asked why they couldn't just make a couple of 6" sandwiches from the bread that was clearly behind them. He continued to yell and berate me in front of my 9 year old son. I told the staff member that this was a terrible way to do business and that this wasn't how they should be treating their customers. The staff member continued to yell, continued berating me in front of my child, escalated to using foul language, and repeatedly yelled at me to get out. Other customers witnessed all of this. One of them suggested I ask to speak to a manager because of the staff's unprofessional and completely disrespectful behavior. When I asked to speak to a manager, the staff member snapped back that there was no manager there and kept yelling at me to leave. I told him to call a manager. He refused and continued to berate me. The customer who suggested I ask for a manager encouraged me to contact corporate and report the incident and the staff's awful behavior. I called customer service and left a voice mail (it was after hours). I also used their online customer feedback system and messaged JJ's via FB messenger. I'm not even sure a refund was actually issued. Ive frequented this location many times before, often before O's games. I will not be returning. The one staff member who incessantly berated me should be terminated and the other 2 staff members should be some how disciplined...

I placed and order for pickup an hour before closing, my order was confirmed and my card was charged, but when I got there 40 minutes before closing no one would pick up the phone and I could not submit via my confirmation email that I was there to pick up my food. It looked like the store had just totally closed.
Fast forward to now nearly three weeks, four calls to customer service, and two follow up emails later, and I still have not received a refund for my order I was charged for but never received. That was until my last time: I noticed the straw holder on the soda fountain was coming off and most of not all the straws would've come out. I informed and employee who was wrapping up the sandwiches and she proceeded to take the straws out of the holder with her gloves on, she did not replace them with new ones. This is a place in the city where alot of homeless people go to get something to eat as well as other unclean people. Rule one of a restaurant: if you br touching food and you are wearing gloves you better change them after washing your hands.
