If I could give the service from our waiter and food negative stars I would!! STAY AWAY!!! We seen the place only had a 2.5 star review but we wanted to give it a chance especially since it’s connected to our hotel and after walking around all day it was convenient. When we were seated they tossed the menus on the table and walked away. When the waiter came he literally shoved all my stuff I had on the table away and slammed down next to me in the booth basically on top of me to take the order. I sniffled because my nose was a little runny and he said “wait.. your cold?!?!” Then laughed. We ordered drinks from the bar which sat at the bar about 30 min before we asked him for them while he was just walking around talking to the other employees. Anyway he took our order. Appetizers came out the waiter slammed into the table almost hitting my 12 year old daughter, I said to my fiancé that I actually think he may be drunk… after about 20-25 min the appetizers came out and they sucked. I asked for no parm breadcrumbs on the spinach artichoke dip and it was on there, we asked for extra sour cream for our potato skins and that also didn’t happen.. oh well mistakes happen I didn’t say anything. He brings out my fiancé and daughter’s food. My daughter ordered chicken strips and they were smaller than a chicken nugget and there were only three of them… my fiancé wanted and was paying for a “premium side” of Mac and cheese instead of coleslaw.. well they gave him coleslaw and no Mac and cheese… ok then. They brought out my pasta after a good 35 minutes, my fiancé and daughter were already done eating. I asked for chicken and no shrimp, it was shrimp so at this point I’m starting to get aggravated so I said I asked for chicken… he said I thought you said shrimp no chicken.. I said no I don’t want the shrimp and my son still has yet to get his food too and you brought me a spoon to eat pasta with… we have no silverware or napkins…He takes mine back. My sons food comes out 15 minutes later. My fiancé had to go to the bar to get silverware because he still hadn’t brought us any silverware. It had been over 20 minutes when I had my fiancé tell him to just put it in a to go box. He asked if we wanted to speak to the manager i said at this point I want to just leave… the manager comes over and said he is paying for a few things (was still $83) fine ok.. after ANOTHER 20-30 minutes my food comes out and the manager comes back again and says he wants to adjust the bill again (we already paid but he said he can fix that) so we ended up spending $52 when the original bill was $116. We get to the hotel and my food was pasta I didn’t eat it with gross chewy chicken pieces and the garlic breadsticks were literally just warm bread, absolutely no flavor. We appreciate the manager trying to make it right but the experience we had with that waiter and the food we are still...
Read moreout of towners that came for a late supper after shopping all day. we were staying in the connected hotel (which was lovely) so we figured we would save ourselves a trip and get dinner at the connected restaurant. right off the bat the host and hostess were incredibly hostile and ignorant. offered to seat us at the bar (we’re underage) and when we responded confused - but obliged - they stared at us for a good 30 seconds and made rude “shrugging” hand gestures, as if they were unaware of our response.
we were told to wait for 15 minutes but not even 3 minutes later the hostess came back to tell us “she guessed she could seat us now” and took us somewhere completely different in the restaurant, which is fine, but just incredibly unprofessional.
we were served by our waiter who introduced himself by informing us that he did not want to work and had chosen the worst night, which left a bad taste in our mouths and made us feel like an inconvenience for dining at their open restaurant, as if we were not welcome. he recommended food that was incredibly underwhelming and was overall just very passive aggressive with us the whole evening. we finished our dinner and got the bill, but since we were from another country we were unfamiliar with the system of payment. we told him we were not from the united states and he responded that we should have told him that earlier, again, making us feel unwelcome and a hindrance.
when we gave him our credit cards to pay, he walked over to the booth and stood with another waiter for close to 5-7 minutes while continuously looking over his shoulder at us. when he brought back our cards he threw the bills down on the table for tips, and told us to “fill out the sheet” before completely disappearing without exchanging any casualties - important to note, he did not leave us a pen or any instructions of the expectations of us with these receipts despite already being made aware of the fact that we were not from the states and were not sure what to do with their payment system.
we understand that this was the saturday before st patricks day, so naturally a bar and grill would be busier than usual, but we feel that this is no excuse for the terrible service we received this evening and we will not be returning at this - or any other - location due to this unpleasant experience.
shoutout to the manager for giving us his pen, probably the best part of our evening...
Read moreIf you're coming here, its probably because you're out of options. My friends and I keep giving this place chance after chance, but tonight was the last straw for us. We went there 7/8 around 1130pm after my friend got off work, and the service we received is sadly what we've come to expect from this place... SLOW and UNATTENTIVE. On a night where the bar was maybe half full, it took over 10 minutes for someone to take our order. The male bartender on duty thought his time was better spent flirting with a group of girls next to us, while the female bartender thought scrolling through her phone was the right choice. By time they got to us, the kitchen had closed and we were left to simply order drinks. This trend continued as the night went on. We waited 10-15 minutes with empty glasses in front of us before we were offered another round. You can bet the girls at the end of the bar were getting prompt service though... Fast forward to the end, where we waited 30 minutes for the male bartender to get the check printed for us to leave. When I finally lost patience and asked someone else to print the check for us, he snapped at me, telling me not to be so impatient with him. Guess what his time was occupied with... flirting with that same group of girls again. Not pouring drinks, not wiping down the bar, not getting anyone their checks... just standing in the corner trying to get someone's number. We probably wont find another bar so conveniently located, but we'll certainly find one with better service. From the looks of it, TGI only responds to positive reviews, so I wont hold my breath expecting a response. Keep your heads in the sand if you want to, but this place needs...
