BLK MGK Coffee — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

The space is exceptionally gorgeous. The remodeled hotel lobby is spacious, full of natural light and well-designed lounge settings to your heart's content. The branding is beautiful, with a menu full of unique offerings.

I am disappointed to report that the beverages and service did not live up to the first impression that was set of this being a high end establishment. The server looked frazzled and was rushing us to take our order. It took about half an hour for our 2 drinks to come out. We had ordered their unique spin on a matcha latte and a London fog. Neither of them were drinkable. My matcha made with rose water tasted like I was drinking straight floral perfume - WAY too intense. Even with a bit of sugar to try to make up for it, I still couldn't drink it. To their credit, they did allow me to swap it for a cold brew when I asked, though it seemed a bit begrudgingly. The cold brew was not bad.

I genuinely just had one of the best meals of my life from here. I don't really eat out around town but wanted to try a breakfast place on the way to work this morning and this menu looked good. The pork belly panini was the perfect combination of juicy, sweet, and savory - and I didn't even eat it "fresh" because I got to-go and then got sidetracked for 40 minutes before I took the first bite. Now I'm kicking myself for letting it sit because that was a 10/10 sandwich even despite letting it get a bit cold and soggy. had the pleasure of being served by taelyn today and I couldn't have been more impressed from the moment I stepped up to the counter their warm and friendly attitude made me feel right at home they took the time to make sure my order was just right and even offered great recommendations based on my preferences the coffee was perfectly brewed and the presentation was spot on you can tell they really care about the quality of the drinks they serve and the customers they serve It’s not often you get such attentive and personal service and I will definitely be coming back for more keep up the fantastic work...
