Letās start with the online reservation process. Made the reservation online and showed up a few hours later. We walked in and the sign says Golden Hour is to the right. Youād think with a place that take reservations, there would be a hostess or hostess stand to direct you to the restaurant which is not distinguished from the coffee bar in the same setting.
The drinks, pretty good despite being on the pricey side.
The service, we didnāt know where the restaurant was and Iām pretty sure the 3 different servers we saw didnāt know where the restaurant or our table was either.
The food. Full stop. Terrible. Dill Fries with caviar and aioli. The fries were green from the dill and tasted like fish and ocean. The caviar, could barely taste the 10 pearls that were sitting on top of pure mayonnaise and dill aka aioli. For $49, you may as well took the family to Golden Corral.
Main Course - Chicken Sandwich, oh hey, you need more fries with that? It would have been nice if the menu or servers would have stated it comes with fries so we donāt end up with yet more fries. The chicken sandwich wasnāt bad if you werenāt gasping for breath in between bites of, gasp, more mayonnaise and what felt/tasted like all the salt in the Mediterranean Sea.
For the price of experience, the dining and service was abysmally lacking. The atmosphere is great, drinks good, just donāt come here to eat unless youāre seeking to burn dollar bills on mayonnaise,...

After waiting 30 minutes for a server, my spouse headed to the bar, only to meet a server who walked him back to where we were sitting to take our order. And then it took over 15 minutes to receive our beverages.

My past experience with the mining exchange's lobby was it used to be a bit stuffy, very dated (and not in the best way) and uninviting for locals who aren't staying at the hotel to hang out. They did a great job updating the interior layout, alleyway and look with new furniture and the cocktails at the Golden Hour bar are pretty decent. During the summer, they are also bringing in small live jazz groups on Thursday evenings as a great way to unwind. Go...
