TL;DR: Chamoru here. The place is legit, the food is delicious, the portions are huge, and the family treats you like one of their own. Will be back for more.
This place is the real deal and reminded me of home! The potato salad almost made me tear up because it reminded me of my nana and how she used to make it before she passed. The portions are huge even for Guam standards and prices are very reasonable for what you get.
The family is from Hågat and although they haven't been back home for a long while it doesn't seem like it because they sure know what they're doing in the kitchen and definitely haven't forgotten their roots. Just like back home, they bring the Hafa Adai spirit to everything they do.
Service was exceptional, everything was done with a smile, patience and love. Choices were limited when we went around 330PM on a Saturday, but still had BBQ chicken, tinala katne and spareribs. All the sides were delicious too. Potato salad, chicken kelaguen, finadene cucumbers made just like we do back on Guam. I tried the short ribs on my second visit and it did not disappoint. There is an extra charge for it, but good to eat every now and then. The latiya is so good and even better than some of the bakeries back home!
I have still not tried the empanadas but will the next time I go. I'm always full by the time I remember to...

Shoot you need to swing by for a 3 choice: Tocino pork that is a hit for my daughter, the bbq chicken and don't play with the short ribs, red rice, and lumpia.... But with lent in the air better make it right with the salmon and red rice. Lumpia is a hit and well everyone makes their own finna dinne but the Aganon family has the best when your feeling lazy. Let's not forget the ambiance of the restuarant screams; CHamoru pride, history written on the walls, CHamoru jams playing, and the feeling that your are home by the welcome you get.. Umbre adai hit me with the BUENASSSSS all day!!!! I need them in Florida since I moved, but shoot try out this gem and tell me you didn't leave feeling like violet from Charlie and the chocolate factory....Roll...

As soon as I walked in - I felt the Hafa Adai style of hospitality that mimics one I’m very familiar with as a child. I grew up in the villages of Dededo and Yona. So I’m very familiar with the North and the South, and how things work with in regard to our people, culture and food.
Visiting the Hafa Adai Fiesta Food - made me feel so nostalgic! If you are looking for some good vibes and a variety of tasty Chamorro foods this is the place to be. Big shout out to Pam who is one of the beautiful daughters of Tony and his wife. Pam created guyuriya in Ube flavor and it was phenomenally delicious! Pam makes most of the pastries and has really taken on something so challenging for many of the Chamorros to make here on the mainland. Her guyuriya is hands down, THE BEST I’ve ever tasted!
