Just had an amazing experience here today! Ashley and Andrew took such great care of my coworker and me! I had no idea how illiterate on tea that Iāve been all my life! Andrew graciously took over an hour of his time to very passionately educate us on the MANY types of teas ⦠(almost overwhelming for the Lipton and Earl Grey tea drinker that I have been), the regions from which they come, the cultural history behind them, and sooo much more. Who knew that there are specific temperatures at which certain teas are heatedā¦boiling is not one so just found out that Iāve been burning my tea all these yearsš¤¦š½āāļø. He even made some samples for us to try. Even in my late 50ās, I love to learn and learned a lot from Andrew. Ashley obviously knows her teas too and chimed in at times to add very nicely to our education and overall experience. I found it all truly fascinating and certainly could not have imagined such a great experience from just walking into a tea shop. Iām not sure that they could do that if they were busy so our timing apparently was perfect since it was very slow then. They were a great team though as Ashley took care of the few customers that did come in as Andrew continued to share his love and knowledge of teas with us so service to all was maintained throughout the time we were there. Iām looking forward to coming into this quaint and amazing tea shop again whenever Iām in downtown Denver and bringing coworkers, friends, and family with me when I do. Whether youāre a tea drinker or not⦠if youāre in downtown Denver, I highly recommend that you visit Ku Cha House of Tea! Itās not just tea⦠itās an experience! Many many thanks Andrew for your heartfelt tour of all the teas you showed us and the time you took to share your love and passion for teas and tea culture with us! Youāre truly an amazing young man! Thanks to you as well Ashley for all of your input! I loved the Goba tea that you made for me! Please forgive my spelling of that if itās not right. Iām still learning š¤¦š½āāļøš. Hope to see you both again soon! God...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store needs help! Most of the white teas in the sample jars were so old that they had completely lost their aroma and showed signs of age and being stored too long. There was a line built up of over 8 people on a Friday with only one employee working.
The employee mentioned that one co-worker was sick. I communicated that I hoped she was okay and that the store had back up support. The conversation quickly escalated and the employee said that this is a small mom and pop and they didnāt need extra staff because this a slow time of year.
This was confusing to hear from a company whose annual revenue is $1M+. They have three brick and mortar locations in prime real estate locations in Boulderās Pearl St Mall, Denverās Cherry Creek Financial District, and Downtown 16th St Mall.
Happy that this company makes money - they have great products. However, Iād recommend their Boulder and Cherry Creek locations for positive in store and customer experiences.
If you come to this location, make sure you donāt have a timeline or somewhere to be afterwards.
Edit: I edited my review and star rating after my original post. This is for my interaction with the employee and the owner of the store, not for the wait. Both interactions felt very one way and about who was right and wrong, rather than about just focusing on better customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe workers were of no real help nor were they inviting or friendly. Obviously they don't get paid commissions which I don't like that structure of pay anyway. Maybe moral is down from holiday burn out, either way, I still give it a darn good rating because the products have some originality and spirit of their own. Product set up makes this store feel more like my great grandma's living room. Even the little tea pigs (that I should have bought) look and feel like pets that keep you company while you drink your tea. The tea cup selection wasn't as homey as it could of been, but alas, I still came close to mimicking a true limey. Now, the actual tea and their short bios really hit their flavor on the nail. The chai teas were even more exciting and what a great selection they did not ignore. Any tea lover could appreciate this little gem of a tea house. Oh, oh, oh!!! My favorite part was the mochi candies, which I stocked up on!!! They were actually soft and very affordable in two different flavors! I will be back soon just for those and...
