Visited their pop-up The Upside Down bar and it was such a waste of time and money. First, its $9 for a reservation. That should have been my first red flag. Next, while the decorations were cool, there were no photo opportunities as there were tables with people in front of everything. It also wasn't at all immersive. I could have forgiven the absurd $9 entrance fee if it was immersive and had photo stations. The drink names were fun. The drinks themselves were absolutely not worth the visit. They were your typical overpriced cocktails that you can get at any bar. Then I bought one-too-many tickets and needed a refund. The event on Eventbrite says refunds up to 7 days ahead. I contacted them 3 different times, once was immediately after I bought the tickets saying I needed a refund for 1 ticket. Not once did I hear back. I had to dispute it with my card. Lastly, it was just boring. We had one drink, were massively underwhelmed, paid and left. I wish I could go back in time and not visit or waste my money here. Oh, also, 20% included gratuity?! And then there's still an option to tip? Just yikes, clearly this is a money grab. There's so many actually great bars in Denver. Skip this and go to one of them.

Devil's Drink is truly a devilishly delightful spot in Denver! This place is more than just a bar; it's an experience. The devil-themed decor adds a fun and quirky touch, making you feel like you've stepped into a different world. The espresso martinis are absolutely heavenly, with just the right balance of rich espresso and smooth vodka. The bartender, a true artist of mixology, ensures that each drink is crafted to perfection. The owner's dedication to the devilish theme is evident in every detail, from the fiery red accents to the playful devilish trinkets scattered throughout the bar. Despite the edgy theme, Devil's Drink manages to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a unique spot to start your night or a cozy place to unwind, Devil's Drink is the perfect choice. It's a devilishly good time that you won't soon forget!

Honestly never had I’ve been disappointed in an owner who lies and a server (Demi D.) who gets annoyed about her mistake. I went with 4 other people last night. My group requested to get separate checks. I did not hear the part where Demi stated that she’ll split the check in 5 ways. Mind you, when we first arrived and looked at the drink menu, she called the non alcoholic drink “boring”. I ordered the non alcoholic drink called Rasputin revenge (which was really good). It costed $9. When I received the bill, I noticed that she spilt the bill 5 ways and I was with an $18 bill. I went up to her and asked her why my bill was so high when I only got the non alcoholic drink. She apologized and said that everyone ordered a cocktail, I then told her that I didn’t order a cocktail, I ordered the “boring” drink. Then she said that she can void the whole transaction or have my group Venmo me. I told her that in the future, when people request separate checks, to just do that. I then went back to my group and told them the situation. They told me to go back to her and have her void the whole transaction and ring it up correctly. So I went back to tell her if she could void the transactions and ring up us correctly. The way her attitude change cause of her mistake, to the point where the owner of the establishment came out to “greet” our group when he wanted to gage us to see if we were being difficult, when we weren’t, we just wanted to be billed correctly. He walked straight to our table to ask us how everything was. I stayed silent but my group talked about how good the drinks were (which they were really good drinks) He then said hi to the group next to us and then headed inside. There were 4 different groups, including mine, that were outside. When leaving I confronted the owner to say that him coming outside to talk to us wasn’t needed, your employee made a mistake and then corrected it as she should. He said that talked to everyone that was outside, which was a lie because my group watched him come outside, walk straight to our table, talked to the table to the right of us, but didn’t talks to the group of 3 or the large group of like 7-8 people. In the end, if your employee made a mistake, they shouldn’t be upset when they have to fix it.

Also, they automatically add gratuity, but their receipts don’t show how much they add. All it shows is “additional tips” and a blank line to write it in, on both the customer AND merchant copy. I hope they voided the 1st transaction, but my card hasn’t been charged the correct amount. I’ll give them 5-7...

Harassed by the employees and horrible service but delicious espresso martinis. As we were exiting the building, the hostess yelled at my group and accused us of not paying our bill. To which I replied “Us?? Yes we did!” remembering how annoyed I was that 20% gratuity was automatically included with our $100 bill considering we had awful service all night. I would have no issue tipping my server but after our Saturday 6:30pm reservation wasn’t honored because of a “tech issue” that affected 4 other groups as well, we were sat in the pool room. This room obviously doesn’t have the same ambiance as the main bar room we wanted to sit in, our drinks took 25 minutes to come out to us, and the staff tried to charge us twice for pool, once included in the bill we paid, and then again when my friend finally found the employee who had her ID as collateral for the game of pool. After all that, we definitely would not have tipped 20%. We were already leaving in an annoyed mood when the hostess yelled at us, ironically with Halloween face makeup of a clown, and when we rebutted she said she was going to check with the server. We waited about 15 seconds for her to come back outside to tell us she was wrong…but she didn’t. Instead my group had to walk back into the building to find her at the hostess stand again acting as if nothing happened. She quickly tried to excuse herself of the scene she caused by saying we were the wrong group and she got us mixed up. To that I say DO BETTER DEVIL’S DRINK and your clown of a hostess. Your team is a disconnected mess and the drinks couldn’t...
