originally gave 5 stars in 2020 since i have been a long time customer and my orders have usually been correct and on time.
Yesterday I had a horrible experience with their manager, Ashley. It had been nearly an hour since I placed my order and it still had not been prepared with no form of communication through the app or a phone call. I totally understand good service and didn't want to inconvenience anyone with complaining so we called and simply asked for an ETA on the food. I was rudely responded to with an " Im sorry??? We're just really busy and It'll be about 30 minutes". We waited 30 minutes and our food was still not prepared so we called again and was met with the same "30 minutes", and I asked where we were at in line and they said we were the next order to go out. Another half an hour went by so we called to see when the driver would be out for delivery. On the phone they told us they were out for delivery already and en route- about 15 minutes go by and we get the confirmation and tracking that our driver was leaving the store with our order. I am not upset with the workers or the quality of the food, but mainly with the unprofessional and harsh response from the manager and the lack of realistic expectations given to us. Had we known we would have to wait 2 hours and 15 minutes for our food I would have prepared for that and eaten a snack or cancelled my order if they were so busy that they weren't able to fulfill it. The pizza was good and made well but was cold by the time I received it and if I wasn't absolutely ravenous I would have needed to heat it up. Cold pizza ontop of a ruthless manager interaction leaves much to be desired in comparison to my countless wonderful experiences here. Gettysburg Dominos team as a whole is great and they all hustle but Ashley really needs to work on having a positive attitude towards customers, responding professionally to issues, and her creating realistic expectations for customers inquiring on the status of their orders. As a manager, to a manager, be better, if not for your customers- for you. Holding onto the negativity that rushes can bring do nothing but give yourself the appearance of rude and disrespectful. Im sure Ashley is wonderful but she should really work on separation between personal feelings and professionalism. I firmly appreciate the understanding from the other manager and how they took care of the situation. Sometimes these issues come from the top down but it seems like maybe it was just a bad night.

I placed the order at 5 pm and we got there about 15 minutes later the app said it would be 25 minutes or so... we watched as people came in ordered pizzas in front of us and they got their order and left while we continued to wait and wait, when we brought it up to the employees who repeatedly stated they were waiting for 3 more things... over and over we heard this. The pizzas were drying out in the warming bays. By the time we got out order over and hour passed and the app said it was done more than 20 minutes before we obtained our order, so the store is cheating the system trying to look good. Finally we got the order they cancelled the credit card purchase completely but that was not what we wanted we wanted to speak with the manager who refused to come out and speak with us, the pizzas by the time we got home was completely dryed out. Haven't seen the bank statement but if we were charged Iwill be contacting Corporate because I did the survey explaining all this and Not one response via phone, postal or email.    Read moreI just tried the stuffed crust pizza, it was basically not edible 𤎠it had these huge bubbles all throughout the pizza, it was disgusting and had to pay this happens EVERY time we go there I didn't bother contacting them because I'm just DONE going there. Gettysburg Domino's is the WORST pizza numerous times these issues happen where the pizza isn't edible from the bubbles on it and the kicker is I'm sure sooooooo many people have probably complained about it with their pizzas it's crazy they aren't fixing the problem. I was soooo freaking excited to try the stuffed crust it was $15.99 for a medium pizza and yeah all we could do was eat the crust for dinner and that wasn't even too great with the Parmesan smothered all over it. Yeah never again Domino's!!!!!
